I think so, I know there is going to be something to do with Dumbledore though because I heard somewhere that she needed to take a break from writing dumbledore in the last book and I think she said somewhere that he was really dead (not positive though). If it isnt the portriat then maybe the pensieve or something.
I think so, but not a lot. I mean, i think that one of the reasons that Dumbledore was killed was that so Harry could continue his journey on his own, without having anyone to protect him. So i don't think he will keep returning to Dumbledore's portrait.
it seems like if they were going to say anything to him via portrait they would have done it when they had the conference type thingy in the office at the end of HBP
I never thought abou that..but now that I have..i think he will, He's still young and he still needs to know more than he does and he'll try to get more information out of Dumbledore through that portrait. Not a lot because that would ruin the point of him being dead.
It's my friend's theory that he will... but using the portrait in the office is so out of the way. Harry would have to go to Hogwarts everytime he wanted to speak to him. I think that he might use a chocolate frog card or something similar. I guess we'll see in 24 days!!! yay!
Well, I think he will have to somehow communicate with Dumbledore, because she has confirmed that he is really dead, but she had also mentioned that Dumbledore was "giving her trouble" while writing the 7th book, so I think he has to be in it somehow.
I never thought he would. He does at the very end but that doesn't count. I kind of figured he'd never be able to get to it. Once Albus died you could tell Voldemort was going to take over. Why wouldn't he? There'd be no one to stop him. Also, Harry often forgets about that sort of thing.
I wish he would've taken Dumbledores portrait off the wall and carried it around with him everywhere. I would've done that :D But yeah he does communicate with it in the last book.
