Harry Potter beats Twilight. Of course. But I really don't like it when HP fans use opinion-ated "facts" when saying WHY Harry Potter is the better movie series. So, I, who am a major Potterhead, put together 7 true, solid, hard, and undeniable facts about certain aspects of the two movie series to prove why Harry Potter is the ultimate series.
**I will only be discussing the movies**

1) Soundtrack

Listen to this wonderful and memorable theme song. As you may have guessed, the theme song belogs to Harry Potter : link

Now listen to this: link
It's pretty, but it doesn't find a special place in your...

Bellatrix Lestrange: the only 'Bella' in the literary world I care about.
Bellatrix Lestrange: the only 'Bella' in the literary world I care about.
The two Bellas: Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter and Bella Swan from Twilight are being compared. These are 50 reasons why I think Bellatrix beats Bella.
1: Most important: Helena Bonham Carts vs. Kristen Stewart... is there really any competition??
2. When people act as if Bellatrix is incapable of doing certain things, it just makes her fight harder. When people act as if Bella is incapable of doing certain things, she becomes all depressed.
3. Bellatrix is exceedingly loyal. For a time, Bella couldn't choose WHO to be loyal to (Edward or Jacob)
4. Bellatrix went into Azkaban for--what was...

“Hang on I think I remember him saying something about it once…”

“So light a fire!” Harry choked.
“Yes… of course… but there’s no wood!” Hermione cried, wringing her hands.
“HAVE YOU GONE MAD!” Ron bellowed. “ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT!”

“Everybody finished the song at different times. At last, only the Weasley twins were...

I absolutely love book Ginny (GoF, HBP, DH). JK makes her a bright, fierce person but in the films, she doesn't seem to be anything like that. She's still reserved like she was in the first few films (which she was supposed to be) but they haven't made much of an effort to show the change in Ginny as she matures. This (pardon my french) really damn well pisses me off.

They make an effort to show the change in Neville and I think they done a really good job with him but I just don't see how they couldn't have put in the same amount of effort with Ginny.

I also love the Ginny/Harry pairing in the...

WANDS

1. Daniel Radcliffe wore out 60-70 wands during the making of the Harry Potter films.
2. Every wand that you see in any of the Harry Potter films is created on-site. No two wands are alike…not even the Weasley twins’!
3. Wands are 13-15 inch long and haven’t changed in length, so the actors have had to grow into them over the years.
4. Dumbledore’s wand was a very elaborate design, even though its significance of being the Elder Wand was far from being known when made.

PROPS

5. Radcliffe has been through 160 pairs of glasses during the shooting of all the Harry Potter films
6. Forty...

Just as British witches and wizards do not use electricity or computers, they have never turned metric. They are not governed by the decisions of the Muggle government, so when the process of metrication (switching to metric measurements) began in 1965, witches and wizards simply ignored the change.

Witches and wizards are not averse to laborious calculations, which they can, after all, do magically, so they do not find it inconvenient to weigh in ounces, pounds and stones; measure in inches, feet and miles; or pay for goods in Knuts, Sickles, and Galleons.

I don't own Harry Potter, Disney or any Movie picture used here. Neither I get credit for the awesome crossovers. Feel free to make me suggestions, I'm working on more harry potter scenes!

One night on Privet Drive an old man in weird clothes appeared. He checked his watch.

This story is told from Albus' pov. This idea had been kicking around in my mind for a couple days. Setting, the Potters' dinner table. When? The summer of Albus' first year at Hogwarts.

Lily was stting the table while I was fighting with James. It was hard to tell what we were fighting over at this point. Probably Quidditch.
Finally, Dad was angry enough to leave the letter he was writing and pull us apart. Mum always commented on how James and I looked just like Dad.
I could see Dad's scar, on his forehead. At school, I had heard some strange stories about it. Every time I tried asking about...

Rowling has answered thsi question twice, and her answers contradict each other a little. In a chat interview she said there are a thousand students at Hogwarts but on her official web site's F.A.Q, in a reply to a question related to the Marauders Map, she said it has "hundreds of dots". Rowling has also said on this topic, that she is bad at thinking in numbers.

So let us fans try too.

If I counted correctly, apart from the ghosts and Peeves, Hogwarts has 17 adult staff members. We could also count the older students who get the rights to monitor the corridors and other students but they add...

"YOU STUPID MUDBLOOD!" Draco screamed. "How dare you humiliate me?!?"
They were in front of the Potions classroom, everyone had left, even Snape. The candlelight from the chandeliers, was the only available light.
Hermione didn't even flinch as the spit from the disgraceful mouth in front of her. She tried to keep her cool, which really isn't that hard for her.
"Malfoy, I dont think a simple slap between enemies is that humliating. You decided to accept it, you arse." She spat.
Draco glared at her with his gray-blue eyes. 'That stupid mudblood, how dare she say that to me?'
As Draco's large hand...
