I mark myself a Slytherin. Yepp, I said it and I feel no shame.

After all, we can't say that all of them are bad. (Regulas Black, and Severus Snape being notable examples.) as well as Narcissa Malfoy and Horace Slughorn (the fun, jolly fellow he is)(As noted in comments)

Its just a house with a bad rap, because of a few bad people.

Saying all Slytherins are evil would be like saying Germany is an evil, and horrible country JUST because Adolf Hitler originated there.

My personal opinion is that, yes some Slytherins went as bad as you could go, but others just got wrapped up in the "misconceptions."...

Ok, yesterday I answered a question in the "Answers" area asking "Do you think Ginny is a Mary Sue?" and it got me thinking. Here is my answer.

No, I do not think Ginny Weasley is a Mary Sue. For one, I don't think she is "too ostentatious for the audience's taste, or that the author seems to favor the character too highly." In my point of view, other than the fact that Ginny ends up with Harry, she really doesn't seem to be favoured. I don't know very much about J.K. Rowling as a person, but again, apart from the fact that they are both female, nothing jumps out at me that would indicate that...

Ingredients
frog or toad chocolate candy mold
white chocolate candy melts
peppermint candy flavoring oil
(chocolate chips or other chocolate)

Instructions
You can use food coloring to make the white candy melts any color you'd like, since green would be appropriate. Since I had so much brown chocolate already, I decided my Peppermint Toads would be white.
Melt the white chocolate according to the instructions.
Use a toothpick to add peppermint oil drop by drop until you have the desired taste. Be careful, since the peppermint oil is VERY strong!
Spoon the flavored chocolate mixture into the candy mold and let harden in the refrigerator.
When solid, pop out your toads and add the eyes with a small paintbrush and melted chocolate chips.
These can be frozen, just thaw before serving.

Guys, this is for those of you who enjoy reading/support Ron&Hermione Pairing.

Sixth Year
Hermione's POV

Oh, I wanted to punch her. Right then and there, and shove her to the floor for good measure. I'm talking about Lavender Brown, who had her lips pressed against the one person I loved enough to feel immediate hatred for her. Ron. I wanted to do horrible things to her. Instead, I stood there in shock, tears welling up in my eyes. Harry turned to face me, and I turned away, running towards my dormitory. I slammed the door, which made not even a dent in the sound that was coming from downstairs....

Once upon a time there was a wonderful story called Harry Potter. The story was not thousands and thousands of hours long, it was not prejudice or demanding, nor boastful or self-righteous. In fact, it was a simple story. It was a tale of an orphaned boy who thought he was alone in the world, and destined to be so forever. He soon discovered that friendship, love and family were waiting for him at an odd little place called Hogwarts. His friends and his foes fought valiantly through seven years of school, discovering that weaknesses could be overcome and strength could be encouraged through...

Whenever my teacher used to say that we've to write an essay on our favorite hobby, i used to get furious coz i never knew what my fav hobby was? I was not content with this and i always got low marks in writing this essay. What's the thing that i always loved to do, i always thought about that.Until Harry Potter came into my life at the age of 13. i read about it day n night. I always talked about it and was very proud of my hobby. Whenever a new student came to our classroom i never forgot to ask him/her if he/she read harry potter or was a potter head.

These books really freshens up my mind....

Ever since J.K.Rowling revealed that Dumbledore was gay on October 19th i've had to question the fact about why this piece of information became
front page news.
Firstly to put my own opinion out, i personally think that this was a very brave thing of JKR to say and whilst i support this statement of hers, it doesn't change my perception of the books. Dumbledore is still the wise, old Headmaster who can make mistakes just like any of us, whom i learned to love over the course of the books.
However, there are many fans who now think that they can "never read the books in the same way again"....

here u go Annik. this is for your assignment. hope it helps you. if u like this, then vote for my short answer there in the place you asked your question.

The choosing of actors in most movies have been very apt and its very original in the harry potter movie especially. When you look at harry in the movie you can very well know that he is brave, determined and a guy who has faced many troubles.

Rupert clearly portrays Ron who is a very easy going friend of harry. Ron also is an innocent character...

Ron Weasley. The sixth child in the Weasley family. The best friend of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. In love with Hermione. Essential to the Golden Trio. Ron has always been overlooked; by his peers in the books, by the films, by the fans. He has been overshadowed by his siblings, by Harry, and by Hermione. However, he is essential to the story, and is just as important to the trio as Harry and Hermione.

Ron is the sixth sibling of seven. His older brothers have all been extremely accomplished. Bill was a prefect, Head Boy, and is the eldest (which gives him much attention by default)....

Characters

Aberforth - In Gaelic, it means "from the river." It is also the name of a small corporation in Edinburgh.
Ambrosius Flume - As the founder of Honeydukes, his first name most likely comes from the word "ambrosia," which is especially sweet and delicious. A "flume" is a "narrow tunnel" that usually has something flowing through it. Combining the names, he can be seen as a supplier of sweets. Coincidentally, there is also an underground tunnel that connects Hogwarts and Honeydukes.
Abraxas (Malfoy) - The supreme Gnostic Deity. Had the body of a man, the head of a cock, and serpents...

So, im writing this article because im pissed off!

Do u guys know why? Its because I’ve seen many people in this club always asking the same question – the question that I hate to see,the question that I’ve answered so many times, the question that is unnecessary.

And it is called - “Why do most people hate ginny?”

And the same question keeps coming up again and again, like “why do most people not like ginny weasley”, “why do people hate ginny?”, “why……… and so on!

Now the thing that bothers me is not the question itself! But the purpose of the question! I don’t see any...
