Chapter 2
Bad News

A few days had passed since the disaster. Ginny and her mother were preparing dinner while everyone was at work. She was doing everything she can to avoid Harry in her thoughts by doing chores. As dinner was set on the table, Mr Weasley arrived home, looking distraught.

Ginny: Is everything ok at work dad? she noticed The Daily Prophet in his hands

Mr. Weasley: Well, I think this should explain it...

He gave the Daily Prophet to his daughter. Suddenly, Ginny gave a huge outcry. Right in front of the paper was a picture of Harry with big huge words:

WANTED FOR THE QUESTIONING OF ALBUS DUMBLEDORE'S DEATH

Ginny: How could they?!! Mum! look at this! Molly takes a look, she was more angrier than Ginny

Miss Weasley: I can't believe it! they have gone absolutley too far this time! They're all mad! doing this to a 17-year-old boy!

Mr. Weasley: That's not the only thing though. The Ministry has also decided to call muggle-borns into questioning. They believe that all of the muggle-borns "stole" magic and will do anything to punish them! out...

Chapter 6

Later in the day, Harry, Ron and Hermione came back to Professor Snape’s grave. They remained silent for a moment. Then Harry took a book out from under his robes. “I found it back in the Room of Requirement.” He showed the ‘Advanced Potion Making’ textbook that had belonged to the Half-Blood Prince, and which had been a trusty companion during his sixth year. “Despite the Fyendfire Crabbe has cast in there, the book has been spared. I guess it was protected in that cabinet where I had put it,” he explained. “Poor Snape… He was not even the master of the Elder Wand. He died for nothing.” He pocketed the book back into his robe. He would treasure it for sure.

Ron and Hermione nodded in agreement. “Speaking about wands, Harry…” the girl said. “I don’t know if I did well but…” She looked confused.

“Go ahead,” Ron said encouragingly.

Hermione took out a wand from her sleeve. “I’d fetched Professor Snape’s wand when we retrieved his body from the Shrieking Shack. I forgot I had it with me until the moment I took my wand out to perform the Carving Spell this afternoon.” She showed...

Chapter 5

Fred Weasley was buried in the afternoon. Harry and Hermione went with the Weasleys as they were considered part of the family. On the day after, Ron, Hermione and Harry, and the remaining members of the Order of the Phoenix, came back to Hogwarts to bury one of their fellows, Professor Severus Snape. A few students were there too, as well as the faculty and staff. The three Malfoys were there too, to Harry’s surprise.

A few yards from Dumbledore’s tomb, a hole had been dig to receive Severus Snape’s body. Hermione had decided to remain with Eileen Snape, who welcomed her gladly, as she was the only person she knew a bit at Hogwarts. “I would have loved to have a daughter like you, Hermione. Or a daughter-in-law like you.” The comment left Hermione thoughtful. Yes, Severus Snape could have been the kind of man she would have wanted for a life companion - bright, intelligent, creative, a master in his field. She had come to appreciate the older witch’s presence. She was touched by her motherly love.

Chapter 4

The Weasleys, Ms Pomfrey, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Professor McGonagall, Harry, they all entered the room. They were here to remove Fred. They noticed the older woman beside Hermione. A woman crying over Snape’s body. They were intrigued – Severus was not known to have an affair with a woman going on.

Hermione went to them. “His mother,” she just said.

Kingsley went to Snape’s body and met Eileen there. “Excuse me… Mrs Snape ?”

“Yes…”

“Kingsley Shacklebolt. I was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, like your son was. I testify he was a key asset to us in order to bring down Voldemort. He was a great man. I’m sure you’re already proud of him. Know that we are proud of him too.” He cleared his throat. “We’ll miss him and we grieve with you.”

Hermione liked the way Kingsley had talked. Modest, humble, referring to the only status he had in common with Severus Snape, as if it was the most valuable thing in the world. Member of the Order of the Phoenix.

Chapter 3

Hermione wanted to be left alone. She needed time to digest all the events of the last days. So she remained with the only person that would never speak to her anymore. Professor Severus Snape. She would not miss his scathing remarks, but she would surely miss his deep, silky voice.

He was peaceful now and she truly wished he had found peace at least. She was caressing his face gently, marveled by the softness of his raven hair, when she heard someone entering the room. She turned her head and saw a woman that looked familiar to her, coming to her.

Hermione gasped. She recognized the woman at once. She had seen her in an old issue of the Daily Prophet last year, when she had found the truth about the Half-Blood Prince.

Eileen Prince Snape was standing in front of her. She had the same features as her son, long, straight, black hair, a sallow face, dark eyes. She just looked older.

“I’ve been told my son was here…”

Chapter 2

Once Hermione was finished with cleaning Snape’s face, they decided to bring him back to the castle for a proper burial. They could not let him there, abandoning him like this after all he had done for them. He still had his black school robe on. They wrapped him in carefully, feeling respect for him like they had never felt before. Hermione took the Potions Master’s wand with her, putting it in her sleeve.

With a Levitation Charm, they brought him back to the castle, but not through the secret passageway this time. It would take more time but it would be easier and more dignified for the departed.

They entered the castle through the main entrance. Professor McGonagall was the first adult to see them. She went to them and when she recognized the body, she just burst out in tears. Pomona Sprout came to her side, tears on her face too, dragging her colleague away. Professor Flitwick told Harry to follow him to a room they had transformed to shelter the bodies of those fallen for the Light side during the battle.

Chapter 1

Harry, Ron and Hermione had come back to the boys’ dorms. Harry had laid himself on his bed while Ron was holding Hermione tight on his own bed. The curtains of their beds were open so they could see each other. But they remain silent. Harry had called Kreacher for something to eat for them all.

They ate in silence. All the memories came back to Harry – including those of Snape. Suddenly, he rose from his bed. “Snape !” he said loud.

“What ?” Ron asked. “What about him ? He’s dead…”

“Yes, he’s dead and he’s still in the Shrieking Shack !” He watched Ron and Hermione.

“You’re right, Harry. We have to do something for him,” Hermione agreed. “Nobody else but us knows where he is now.”

They were all three exhausted. But they went out of the dorm. That was the least they could do for the man that had done so much for the Greater Good. The man that had died a most gruesome death. The man that lied now on the floor of the Shrieking Shack. The man that had saved their lives countless times before.

Once upon a time there was a wonderful story called Harry Potter. The story was not thousands and thousands of hours long, it was not prejudice or demanding, nor boastful or self-righteous. In fact, it was a simple story. It was a tale of an orphaned boy who thought he was alone in the world, and destined to be so forever. He soon discovered that friendship, love and family were waiting for him at an odd little place called Hogwarts. His friends and his foes fought valiantly through seven years of school, discovering that weaknesses could be overcome and strength could be encouraged through a simple thing called love. Harry Potter thought he was alone in the world, if only he knew that millions of people, like myself, saw him as so much more than a character, but as a friend.

Tonight, I, like so many before me and so many yet to see, watched the final installment of the Harry Potter film series. Like all of those prior, it was a rare piece of magic that was more than a joy to watch. However, throughout the entire film, I could not help but feel a terrible pain in my chest. This was goodbye. While I agree that the story itself will never truly die, there is still that...

"HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX" (2007) Review

I usually tried to avoid reading reviews of movies I am interested in seeing in the near future. Instead of relying on the opinions of others, I prefer to form my own opinions. However, my curiousity got the best of me and I could not help but read several reviews and opinions on the latest cinematic release from the HARRY POTTER franchise - namely "THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX". Mind you, the story was never my favorite HARRY POTTER novel, but after the near travesty (okay, perhaps that description is a bit exaggerated) . . . after the slight disappointment of 2005's "GOBLET OF FIRE", I could not help but wonder this next movie would fare. After all, the novel was longer than even the fourth entry. Fortunately, my fears proved groundless and "THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX" has become my second favorite HARRY POTTER movie.

Before I begin to wax lyrical over the movie, I need to point out what I consider to be flaws in the movie. My sister had informed me that the producers of the HP movies had originally intended Mike Newell - director of "GOBLET OF FIRE" - to helm the fifth novel. Somehow those...

Title: Breathtaking Beauty

Author: FragrantPowders

Beta: None, but I don't think there are many mistakes in this piece.

Pairing: Pansy/Luna

Rating: M/R

Warnings: Suffocation, Character death

Disclaimer: I own nothing. JK Rowling owns it all. I make no profit. Don't sue.

Author's Notes: Poem written for my dearest friend K. Written deliberately without any use of capitals, so please don't comment on it to tell me, I amalready aware if it (but you are more than welcome to tell me if it works for you or not). Dark themes, dark times. Darkness ahoy.

Breathtaking Beauty

the shadows dance their nightly dances

darkness blending easily with white

and grey is all that matters

in these times of war

neutral and colourless are safe

because both red and green kill

pansy can feel the moon goddess so close

I think there's something fishy to it. Because it's horribly unreliable and through that horribly unfair and useless.

Some theorize that magical children are born with the Trace but I don't think so because the books talk about it as something that is put on people, as in a charm. And in magic it should be possible to make a more specifically effective charm. Even the Magic Quill at Hogwarts lists the names of every magical inhdividual born. The Trace should be working the samw way but it isn't.

I've racked my brain with the Trace matters after I (in the Answers part of thsi club) brought up the question whether it remains active until the 17th birthday even if a minor drops out of Hogwarts years before he/she turns 17. (Because the Trace seems to be placed only on verified Hogwarts students to begin with (as Hermione received nno warnings though she studied spells before she began Hogwarts) and expulsion seems to be the worst thing they'll do if taking action seems needed. As in the Trace seems to very strongly relate to literally studying at Hogwarts, so I wondered if they'd remove it when a person chooses to drop out.)

Wow. I had to open with wow, because I'm speechless. I saw the midnight premier earlier this morning, and I had this uplifting feeling. To see all of these loyal fans showing their pride and coming out for the last big Harry Potter event was simply heartwarming (I actually only feel this now - I was too tired to really focus on the little details before the movie). Plus, we got these killer Harry Potter 3D glasses, which went far beyond my wildest hopes and dreams.

I'm doing this review out of sadness, mostly. It's just now hitting me that now this remarkable series will fade away from my life. Of course, I'll be able to reread them, and I'll always remember the impact they had on me, but it won't be the same knowing nothing new is coming my way. So anyways, here's my review.

Overall, there's nothing to complain about. Yeah, everyone knows the scenes they skipped, focused on too long, or executed poorly. I, not having read the 7th book in a year, didn't have any problems. I could tell there were definitely parts missing (*please comment on what scenes were left out or done badly*), but what was left out was made up for in the key plot points. The...

Thank You J.K. Rowling for writing Harry Potter, one of the best books I have ever read. Though I didn't grow up with HP (and I envy those who did) I am still grateful for deciding to read the book.

Thank You to the movie cast of the HP movies. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Ruper Grint, Tom Felton, Alan Rickman and the others for helping in bringing the HP story to life.

When I wtached Part 2, there were scenes that made me wanna stand up and scream "Hell yeah!" especially when they were preparing for the Battle of Hogwarts. But I did tear up when I saw Fred, Tonks and Lupin dead. And I tried to furiously try to conceal my tears when the screen started to fade to black on Harry, Hermione and Ron's faces. It still gives me a sad and heavy feeling in my gut.

I don't know how many times I'll say "Thank You". But Thank You to J.K. Rowling for Harry Potter, the movie crew for bringing the story to the big screen and fellow HP fans in supporting them through and through.

I don't know things about you but in my side, i will really miss my childhood movie. I was growing up with this movie. I really can't beliave the end has came. I will miss the perfect friendsip trio; Harry-Hermione-Ron.
I will miss Romione couple. At the beggining, we all thought there will be a chemistiry between Harry and Hermione but as the time goes on, we all learned how can love be possible, funny. We loved Romione!Their fights were the beggining of a big love. :)

I really love this movie because when ron left hermione and fight with Harry, Hermione cried at all nights but she pretended like she does never care. And she tried to help Harry all the time. She didn't hurt herself or stopped being.

I will never forget the most enjoyable Beautiful perfect movie in my life.!
i really want to know your ideas. I will always be watching and writing comments about it!
and do't forget that; LEGEDS ARE UNFORGETTABLE:))

Chapter One

Outside the Ravenclaw common room I saw Fred and George Weasley waiting for me.
I am Scarlet, I'm a metamorphagus that has changed her appearance so many times to look prettier I have forgotten all my true features. At the moment I have dark scarlet hair and light blue eyes.
The twins and I walked down to breakfast where we discussed the rumor of Harry putting his name in the Goblet of Fire. Sometimes they joke around so much that I can never tell whether they're serious anymore. They were discussing that the were going to begin taking bets on whether he would survive or not, and make a few silver sickles while they're at it.
On the way to our first class potions, we began to talk about they're plans to create the biggest joke shop in Britain, maybe even the world. Snape was outside the classroom speaking to Mad-eye Moody. We were too engrossed in our discussion to hear what they were saying but we knew that Mad-eye was very agitated.
Nothing much happened afterwards, apart from George dropping a dungbomb into one of the Slytherins cauldrons and causing everyone from excluding the Slytherins to stay behind and clean the...

Chapter 4

Okay, trudging up a big hill in the early hours of morning wearing a skirt wasn't the best of choices.

But it was Ginny's fault! She's the one who made me wear a mini- skirt, and she had no right to stomp n my foot when Harry choked on his cereal when he saw me. As far as I'm concerned, she can have him.

I'm not really the type to fall in love, or food poisoning, or whatever you call looking like your trying to suck eachother's faces off.

But there I was, looking at Cedric, wearing a black mini-skirt, black and white striped knee socks, red pumps, white tank, and a red leather jacket (my choice thank you; the tank showed too much cleavage for my comfort.)

I saw his eyes drifting downward and I shot him a If-your-eyes-go-down-any-lower-I-will-kill-you look, and he shot back a I'm-sorry-I-was-looking-downward look, and I gave him a If-it-happens-again-I'll-be-having-you-on-toast-for-breakfast-tomorrow look.

How often does it happen that we decide to watch a film in the theatre, then search it online, and then leave it to finish downloading first so that we could watch it some other time, and then end up, ultimately, forgetting about it altogether? Quite often, I’d say!
There’s nothing wrong in choosing to download the film you are here for, but when you can link, why not simply sit down and enjoy it first, and then worry about whether you want to keep this film with your forever! It’s not only acceptable in the film-fan world, but it’s also the idea in vogue. Furthermore, outing to cinema theatres doesn’t end up giving us as many memorable moments as they do the damage to our wallets!
Staying at home to watch online movies has other advantages, but they need not be discussed right now. What’s important is what you will get if you watch a film from this website. First and foremost, you will get an exceptional audio and video quality. Not to forget the fast speed with which the film loads onto your PC. Another feature is the incorporation of the latest PC...

Chapter 3

"Is it time already?" Mumbled Ginny groggily.

"Mmf." I groaned.

I rolled over and got up and shuffled over to the mirror.

I saw a fourteen year old girl with once red hair, dyed rainbow and given a six week grounding for, bright sky blue yes, and faint freckles, wearing purple shorts with skulls on them, and a white tee-shirt.

I stuck my tongue out at my reflection; I looked horrible. My hair was a mess. But then I remembered something: QUIDDITCH!!! I was instantly pumped, and I shook Ginny awake.

"GINNY GINNY QUIDDITCH QUIDDITCH!!!"

Ginny mumbled something and sat up.

I ran to the closet. Hmm.. what to wear? Meh, no time to worry about that.

I opened the closet and puts on sweatpants. I flopped on my bed and pretty much spread everything out.

"Abby, are you serious?"

Chapter 2

I fell face first onto the carpet.

I heard Fred explaining the Ton-Tongue Toffees to Harry, so I went into the kitchen. MY two older brothers, Bill and Charlie, were sitting at the table with George and Ron.

"Awesome." I said, pointing to Bill's fang earring as I walked by.

"As always." He winked.

I heard a little 'pop' and Dad appeared, yelling at Fred for dropping the candy.

"That WASN'T funny, Fred!! What on EARTH did you give that muggle boy?!?!"

"I didn't GIVE him anything, I just DROPPED it. It was his own fault he ate it." He said with an evil grin.

"You dropped it on purpose! You knew he would eat it!"

"How big did his tongue get?" I asked eagerly.

"it was four feet long before his parents let me shrink it."

George and I roared with laughter.

Chapter 1

There I was, in a chimney, squished inbetween two of my brothers, Fred and Ron. We were at the Dursleys, and we had gotten there by Floo Powder. Evidently, they had the fireplace blocked, and now my dad, my brothers, and myself were jammed together.

"Ow! Move over!"
"You move!"

Conversation was going on below me, and i was trying to wiggle down to hear. All of a sudden, I heard a BANG, and I came tumbling out, along with everyone.
From underneath George's legs, I could see Dad outstretching his hand for a handshake with a short, fat, mustached man who was, quite frankly, very ugly. Across the room, I saw a scrawny, black haired boy with glasses and a lightning bolt scar.

"Hey Harry." I said, but it was muffled by the carpet.

"Hello Abby." He said back.

"ACK! get off me George!!" I said as I shoved him off.

{I LOVE THIS LITTLE POEM. I THINK THAT JK ROWLING SHOULD CONSIDER WRITING POETRY SOMETIME! LOL...}

In times of old when I was new
And Hogwarts barely started
The founder's of our noble school
Thought never to be parted:
United by a common goal,
They had the selfsame yearning
To make the worlds best magic school
And pass along their learning.
"Together we will build and teach!"
The four good friends decided
And never did they dream that they
Might some day be divided
For where there such friends anywhere
As Slytherin and Gryffindor?
Unless it was the second pair
Of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw?
So how could it have gone so wrong?
How could such friendships fail?
Why, I was there and so can tell
The whole sad, sorry tale
Said Slytherin, "We'll teach just those
Whoses ancestry is purest."
Said Ravenclaw, "We'll teach just those whose
Intelligence is surest."

Hermiones POV

It took about a minute for everyone to relise that Agustus was dead, and we were all just saved by a huge black wolf that just got up and walked away. Then they started to care for the wounded. Some people had gotten flown back and hit the wall at an akward angle, there for breaking a bone or two or just getting ingured flat out.

But what was really bugging Hermione was the fact that she hasd a hunch that the wolf was an animagus and she had an idea on who it was, but everyone was completely ignoring the fact that she had just saved there lives. She looked around at everyone, relised that they really wernt going to look for her, and stormed of in the direction of the wolf without a word.

"Hermione? Hermione wait, were are you going?" Ron caught up to her and grabed her hand. She wirled around.

"Doesnt it bother you that a wolf just saved our lives and walked away injured and no ones going to look for it?" Hermione snapped.

read the first part first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calypso's POV

With a heavey hart and burning cheek, she watched them leave. Thats all people ever seemed to do when they saw her. Like REALLY saw her. Not when she was gossiping or spreading rumors with Pansy or teasing them in the halls or throwing things at them while the teachers back is turned. See past that shell she managed to construct around herself and into the confused, weak core her father had beaten and starved her into. Calypso had figured if she wasnt the one doing the teasing she would be teased. If her mother hadnt gotten herself killed, mabey things would have turned out different. Mabey she would have had more of a normal witchs childhood; mabey she wouldnt be so mean to other students; mabey she would be in a different house. Mabey.

Calypso moaned and ploped onto the ground. She really wanted to help, but what could SHE do? Her father would have done something like slow time in the one room, so its not like she could do anything. Even if she could think of something, she would half to kill him, and she didnt know if she had the guts. Or streangth.

After Volldamort had been defeated, one of his biggest secret followers, Merlin Agustus, had gone mad and started killing random and innocent witches and wizards. Half of Howarts was here, surrounding his huge stone manor. It was suposted to be just Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but word leaked out and hundreds of kids volunteered. Even some in Slytherin got persuaded somehow and they now had a temporary truce.
