Its signed prince voldemort
It was a crisp autumn eve on the Hogwarts express. Albus, James and Rosie where eating cauldron cakes and goofing off, when suddenly an owl soared by and tapped furiously on the glass. Albus opened the window and the owl burst in and stuck out its leg at Albus. Albus unstrapped the note attached to its leg. The owl stared into Albus' eyes and glared.

Then without another backwards glance it took off. "What does it say?" said Rosie who looked terrified. Albus read aloud "Potter, if you ever want to see your parents again you will meet me outside the shrieking shack at midnight on Halloween." "It’s signed Prince Voldemort" said James with a look of up most terror on his face.

"This doesn't add up" said Rosie. “Well we will have to discuss this later because now’s the sorting." Albus said. “Cross your fingers that we get in the same house” said Rosie. "We will!" said Albus and Rosie in unison.
The new students’ arrival was met with tumultuous applause. But none of the unsorted 11 year olds heard a thing. For there was only one thought...

Calypso's P.O.V.

Dementry shot spell after spell at Calypso. She just changed into her animagus and dodged them. She hoped to wear him out and can make his death quick, but she was still healing, and she wore out faster than he did. Calypso realized that she was going to change into herself and use her wand. She was just about to do that when she realized that she had left her wand on her bed and was going to go back and get it when use had run into Madame Pomfry. Calypso silently cursed herself and tried to stay in her wolf shape.

To late.

Calypso had already changed out of it, and Dementry shot a spell at her that hit her on the arm. Calypso bit back a shout of pain and jumped into the mass of death eaters and kids. Eventually she found Potter, Granger, and Weasly all back to back fighting of three deaht eaters.

'You've never had friends that will do that.' A small part of her brain said.

'Shut up.' Calypso told it as she dashed towards them. She snapped two guys neck and kicked the other one in the ribs so hard he went flying. Them she turned to them.

Calypso's POV

Calypso ran to the Grand hall and placed her ear to the door. Nothing. 'That's not good' she thought. 'If no ones here, then there might be a battle going on........ Shit. Dementry.' He was her fathers right hand man, just as committed as her father was. She ran back to the slytherin common rooms, but on the way she ran into-almost literally- Madame Pomfry. She gasped and clamped her on the shoulders.

"Calypso! Were have you been! I have been looking all over for you!". The older woman shrieked.

"Madame, were is everyone? The hall is perfectly empty.". Calypo gasped.

"Why, a lot of them are still resting after the battle with your father. But some of them, like the ones in Dulmberdor's army, went to investigate a strange signal they got near a canyon some hours ago."

"Did it say who sent it?" Calypso's grip tightened.

"Well, it was from some man named Dementry. Strange name, don't you think?"

The Snidget!!! :D
- Hagrid is said to be twice the height of a human, but in the films he is mentioned to be 8 feet 6 inches.

- Crookshanks is no ordinary cat, as he is half-kneazle. Kneazles are intelligent cat-like creatures who can sniff out suspicious characters, and if a kneazle takes a liking to a witch or wizard they make excellent pets.

- Members of the Order of the Phoenix are the only wizards who know how to communicate using their patronuses.

- Dementors don't breed. They grow where there's decay, like fungus.

- The tattoos on Sirus Black's body are borrowed from Russian prison gangs. These are to identify a person as one to be feared and respected.

- Garden gnomes are considered to be pests in the wizarding community because they eat the roots of plants and make little piles of earth, very much like moles.

- The ghost Nearly-Headless Nick was beheaded because of a botched dentistry job. He was trying to straighten Lady Grieve's teeth but instead she sprouted a tusk. When his head was on the block the executioner swung his axe 45 times but still didn't completely remove it from Nick's neck.

Credit: link. I didn't write it myself.

"I like taking pointless Facebook surveys as much as the next person. But, since they’re mostly about kissing, I started to wonder how someone completely incapable of feeling love might handle such things. So I just had to tag my good pal Lord Voldemort in my most recent survey. Here's what he had to say:

Was your last kiss standing up, sitting down, or lying down?
The only kiss I believe in is the Dementor's kiss, and as I have very little soul remaining in my withered husk of a body, one would have little effect on me.

Whose bed were you on last?
Nagini's, playing "Dangle the Severed Hand Over The Snake And Jerk It Away Just As She Strikes." It helps her go to sleep. I also sang her favourite Parseltongue lullaby, "SSSSSssSSSSSSSSSssSSS."

When's the last time someone of the opposite sex told you they missed you?

Were Sirius Black somehow capable of getting some short and other very, very long messages to certain people at the moment he died, this is what he would have said.
To Hermione Granger: I am forever grateful for your intelligence and courage. I truly and literally owe you my soul.
To Ron Weasley: I’m still really sorry I had to break your leg. It was necessary. I’m sure you understand.
To Peter Pettigrew: I will find you in Hell someday. You mark my words.
To Molly Weasley: For all of our differences, you are the closest thing to a mother Harry has ever known. I know you will take good care of my Godson.
To Bellatrix (Black) Lestrange: Your aim has improved, Cousin. I am impressed. I suppose we are even now. For that time I brutally murdered your cat with a tea kettle. The damn thing left scars.
To Minerva McGonagall: For all the hell I put you through back in school, I know I earned a place in your heart. Don’t even try to say that my name doesn’t pop into your head every time someone refers to you as ‘Minnie’.

The last track of the CD ended. I sat straight up before I started to put away all my things as quick as I possibly could. I had been sitting there far too long. I had forgotten about the time and now I was late for dinner. I carefully closed the wardrobe before I rushed out of my room and down the stairs. Though midway down I stopped dead, and ran upwards again. I had to change clothes. Into my room again. Open the wardrobe and pull out a clean shirt, clean trousers and clean robes. I pulled off my old clothes and hurriedly put on the new ones. I pulled on my robes as I ran down the stairs the second time and then I stopped in front of the dining room doors. I took a couple of deep breathes and pulled my fingers through my hair before I carefully opened the door and entered. My stomach took a leap when I realized that my parents weren’t the only ones in the room. I swore to myself. I had forgotten that we expected guests for dinner, and now I had been both late, and had forgotten to dress up.

Some interesting fun facts I found and wanted to share with you! Credit to the Harry Potter wiki:

The original last name for Neville's character was "Pupp"

If you rearrange the letters in "Severus Snape" you get "Pursues Evans".

The only autograph Harry ever gave out was to Colin Creevey.

Both Michael Corner and Harry have dated the same girls, but in a different order, Cho Chang and Ginny Weasley.

Harry Potter is still the only wizard to this day that has had all three Unforgivable Curses cast on him and survived.

David Thewlis had originally auditioned for the part of Professor Quirinus Quirrell, but Ian Hart was eventually cast.

Minerva McGonagall almost married a muggle named Dougal McGregor when she was 18. Minerva realised that wedding a Muggle who was oblivious to the fact that she was a witch would mean she would live unhappily with her wand locked away, shredding all of her ambitions. She turned down the proposal and left for London.

I walked slowly towards home, while I went through the day moment by moment inside my head, and I cherished every one of them. I stayed longer by some memories before I put them as far back in my brain as possible, where no one could find them. Because it was just as important to stuff the memories away, as it was to actually remember them. I didn’t even want to think about what could happen if he got to know. There was nothing that frightened me more than his cold fury.
Therefore, I tip-toed through the garden and through the kitchen door. My father would never be in the kitchen so I knew that was a safe zone.
When I entered I heard the well-known thudding and the horrible sobbing of Dobby. I rushed towards him and pulled him away from the oven where he’d been standing and banged his head into the stove plates.
”Stop it!”
Since it was an order he stopped immediately.
“Dobby is so sorry young master, but Dobby has to punish himself, because Dobby has been a very bad houself, young master.”

Rowling has answered thsi question twice, and her answers contradict each other a little. In a chat interview she said there are a thousand students at Hogwarts but on her official web site's F.A.Q, in a reply to a question related to the Marauders Map, she said it has "hundreds of dots". Rowling has also said on this topic, that she is bad at thinking in numbers.

So let us fans try too.

If I counted correctly, apart from the ghosts and Peeves, Hogwarts has 17 adult staff members. We could also count the older students who get the rights to monitor the corridors and other students but they add to the staff only a little and only on one aspect. They don't take away from the teachers' responsibilities as educators, nor can they give detention or watch over them. And Hogwarts is supposed to be the finest school in witchcraft and wizardry. So, I can't see that limited staff running a thousand children in fine and quality education, nursery and discipline. Hundreds students tops and even that would be a challenge.

Calypso's POV

The nightmares were horrible. They weren't so much as her imagination, but memories. When ever he had one of his random, unpredictable mood swings or got drunk -or both-, he would come into whatever room she was in and beet her, then literaly drag her to 'The room'. It was one of the smallest rooms in the whole manor, like a walk in closet. He would lock her in there, once for days, until one of the house elfs would unlock the door when they new father wasn't drunk and wouldn't notice, and send her to her room. There was never a single time she didnt have a single bruise. Until, of course, she turned eleven. Then she got her letter to Hogwarts, and didn't come home for the holidays. Even though she spent them teasing and consructing a shell around her self, they were the best times she's ever had. No one dared even come near her if they weren't on her good side. At Hogwarts, she was strong, powerful, untouchable. At the Manor, however, she would collapse. Her father was the one person she was afraid of. He was the only one who could reach inside of her and pull out the inner fear. And he would blame her for her mothers death. He would say...

1. Harry James Potter:

He taught me that i can withstand anything with the power of love. When most of the wizarding world thought he was a joke (because he believed Voldemort was back) He did not back down. He said he believed Voldemort was alive and stuck to it. He did not care who laughed at him, who believed him and who did not because he knew Hermione and Ron were standing by him, too. He taught me sheer willpower.
He taught me to take responsibility. It is not always about what i want or need. It about what is right. What is right for the ones i care about. He taught me to put others first, because I am not the only one who is important in this world. Everyone is individually important.
He taught me that love and friendship is the greatest power of all. He taught me that if you have love, then you need no greater power. He taught me that the power of the elder wand is useless because in the end, so much power will only destroy you.
In our life, the Elder Wand is everything we desire. We never get enough of our desires, and we never should. Harry taught me that.

Yep.You HP fans know the moment Im talking about. You know, that moment when Hedwig's Theme played for the last time, when you wanted to cry and cheer, scream and weep at the same time...that time you knew it was ending yet refused to accept it.That moment, when all the boundaries vanished, when we all rose together from different places, from different countries,we all came together, clapping, smiling and crying at the same time. That was the moment when we found that, nothing has really changed, despite everything that has.Amidst the thunderous applause and the shouts and cries in the theater all,we knew that there has never been anything like Harry Potter. And there never will be..and that the oak doors of Hogwarts will always swing open to us in welcome...
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU,HARRY...

Ginny was sat on the bench in the great Hall, lent against her Mother who sat at her side, the last of her tears rolled down her cheeks. Looking down the table to where her Brother Ron sat with Hermione, their heads close together, her Hermione’s small petite hands covered completely by Ron’s larger ones. A small ghost of a smile lit up Ginny’s face. It was about time she thought, she had been wondering what it would take for them too to realise that what they had was more than friendship, she really was happy for them. She then started looking for the one person who had finished this for them, the boy who had defeated Voldermort once and for...

"HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – Part I" (2010) Review

I have been a major fan of J.K. Rowling’s "HARRY POTTER" novels as much as the next person. But I would have never become a fan if it had not been for the movie adaptations of the novels. Mind you, I have not harbored a high opinion of all the movie adaptations. It has been a mixed bag for me over the past nine years. Of the seven movies that were made, I have a high opinion of at least four of them. And last year's movie - "HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – Part I" - happened to be one of them.

I never thought I would think highly of ”HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – Part I”. When I had heard that Warner Brothers planned to split Rowling’s seventh novel into two movies, I did not think it was a good idea. And I felt it was an attempt by the studio to get as much profit from Rowling’s saga as much as possible. Being a steady fan of the franchise, I went ahead and saw . . . and thanked my lucky stars that the movie had not been shot in the 3-D process. Not only did I develop a high opinion of ”HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – Part...

A comment made on my previous article about Lily Evans motivated me to write this one. I will try to explain why I think most Slytherins, as portrayed in the books, shouldn't be considered 'good', but 'not bad' at best. When I say 'most Slytherins', I mean everyone Harry dedicated a few thoughts to except for Andromeda who remains unknown.

Salazar Slytherin's favourite students were the ambitious and cunning ones, preferably purebloods. While none of those traits are negative, the house still managed to produce more dark wizards than any other. Voldemort is Slytherin's descendant and most of his followers are also Slytherins (funnily, though, it was a Gryffindor who brought him back). All the villians are Slytherins (at least on first sight) and they're either murderers, bullies or nasty at best. They mostly support Voldemort and agree with his views. This has been repeated over and over. I didn't have their political views in mind when I stated they were 'not bad' at best. Slytherins are not bad at best because they're egocentric and because they have no class.

The Chamber of Scerets
Chamber of Memories
October 31, 1992
Minerva McGonagall sat gazing out of her bedroom window into the rain swept grounds of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was nearly midnight, but Minerva was unable to sleep; the event of the evening were still playing in her head. "The Chamber Of Secrets has been opened; enemies of the heir, beware". The image of the ominous message on the wall seemed to be etched on the insides of her eyelids. She shivered at the thought of the chamber being opened again. Memories began to resurface, memories that she had long tried to forget, and yet, she still held close to her heart… horrible memories. Fifty years had passed, but Minerva could still recall, with frightening detail, the last time the chamber had been opened.

In the early hours of the morning, a fitful sleep finally found Minerva. And, with sleep, came dreams.

Throughout centuries the House of Slytherin has attracted ambitious and cunning students seeking for success and personal glory. It is the house favoured by old pureblood families, such as the Malfoys or the Blacks, and the house the has apparently produced more dark wizards than any other. In the following article I will give the reasons why I think Lily Evans should've been a Slytherin.

Lily is a Gryffindor, and a fitting one. Harry Potter's famous mother and reason why he was able to put an end to Voldemort, was a talented muggleborn witch who attended Hogwarts in the 70s. She was teacher's favourite and a member of prof Slughorn's elite Slug club. After finishing Hogwarts she joined Dumbledore's Order of the Phoenix to fight Voldemort.

Lily Evans was a friend of none other than Harry's most hated prof Severus Snape, a halfblood Slytherin. The lived in the same neighbourhood before they went to Hogwarts and Snape was the one who introduced her to magic. Having a witch for a mother, Snape knew something about the magical world, inculding about Hogwarts. On the other hand, Lily was the only one aware of his tragic situation at home. The two were very...

Severus Snape was, in fact The Bravest Man I Ever Knew. "Albus Severus, you were named for two headmasters at Hogwarts, one of them was a Slytherin. And he was, probably, the bravest man I ever knew." Severus Snape fought for what was right. "A true wizard on the inside. Not afraid of what he had to do" "Long ago I had a teacher. A sallow skinned Slytherin with long black hair. I hated him and he seemed to hate me too. Though I branded him a coward, he was, in fact, the bravest man I ever knew."
So, I say, to Severus Snape, 'You were the Bravest Man I Ever Knew. Long live Snape! He was "a true wizard on the inside."'
To Snape!

Chapter 2 - To speak the truth or to not speak the truth that is the question?

This is it poppy right take a deep breath "erm yeah I'm new I was home schooled by my mum" and their was some truth in that my mum did home school me in my world, demention whatever you want to call it "oh does your mum work at the ministry" he replied "no she works for a muggle orphanage though my dad works for the ministry of magic in Korea" I half-lied because my mum does in fact work in an orphanage and my dad is Korean but is the British priminister's assistant.

Before he could question me further the compartment door opened again to reveal a girl who looked about 16 with red hair that reached the middle of her back with muddy brown eyes and full lips she looked about 5ft8 maybe 9 "James well guess I've finally found you" she turned her eyes to me and gave a knowing smile "well James aren't you gonna introduce me to your new friend" she said shutting the compartment door behind her and sitting down next to James, is it even natural to feel jealous right now "of course Rose this is Poppy Moore" he said using his hand to gesture to me "Poppy this...

Chapter 1 - a wish come true....well sort of

I had just finished reading Harry potter and the deathly hallows 'sigh' "I wish I was a witch and that I could meet Harry Potter and maybe he would fall in love with me instead of Ginny" I thought aloud. Look I know what your thinking 'wishful thinking never going to happen in a million years' yeah well a girl can dream can't she. I was perched on the windowsill gazing out the window when I saw a couple of shooting stars passing by and I thought well I've got nothing else to do so I closed my eyes and said "I wish I was a witch and that Harry Potter fell in love with me not Ginny Weasley"

I sighed as I got up and walked to my bed I hoped tomorrow would be an amazing day. Ok so whilst I'm trying to get to sleep I may as well tell you about myself my names Poppy Moore I'm 17 years old, I'm 5ft5 with chestnut brown hair that falls inches under my shoulder blades. I am also born and raised in the northern part of London, I love reading' I also know the Harry potter books like the back of my hands and when I mean like the back of my hands I mean I know every spell, charm, curse,...
