Hello my name is Caitlin and I'm a Potter-holic.
Everyone has a story of how their Potter addiction started. My addiction started on 7/16/2005. It was the premier for book 6. I went to the premier for book 5 and attempted to read the book but it was too boring. So I was determined to read book 6. I never read any of the other books. I've only seen the movies. I started to read the book and I took it everywhere. I took it to summer camp and read all day. One day another girl at the camp came up to me and said," Oh my god, you're reading Half-Blood Prince! I just finished it. You know Dumbledore dies in the end?" I felt angry, sad, and shocked all in one moment. This was my first ever spoiler.
When I did finish I thought to myself, "That was the greatest book ever!" But I never read any of the others, so there was a lot I didn't understand. So I went back and read book 5. I still didn't understand everything. So I went to Barnes and Nobles and bought books 1-4. I read book four before the movie came out. I didn't read books 1-3 until this year though.
Once I read book 6 I was hooked. I watched the movies constantly and I've read every book at least 2. I've read book 6 4 times. I kept reading the books over and over to find clues for book 7. I made theories and read other people's theories. But none of this could prepare me for the Deathly Hallows.
I went to the Book 7 premier but this time I wore a Mrs. Potter shirt. It was awesome. I wasn't able to get the book that night(which made me pretty mad). I didn't get book 7 until July 23rd. I started reading at 4:30 p.m. and finished at 1:00 a.m. When I finished the book I went into Potter withdrawal. I kept reading the book over and over to trick myself into thinking it wasn't over. I didn't talk for a couple of days so I wouldn't spoil it to anyone. I wasn't really sad or angry that the series was over. I was just in disbelief. After a few days, I said to myself,"Wow, it's actually over."
I'm much better now. I'm not as obsessed as I used to be.

2. Luna is a true Ravenclaw, underneath all that quirkiness, there is a layer of intelligence. She's the one who led Harry to the Grey Lady and she spoke the last words for Dobby.
3. No matter, how flawed you are, Luna will always see the good things about you.
4. Luna doesn't care what you think of her, she's different and proud of it. For example, she always wears her radish earrings and Spectra-specs, and she doesn't care if it looks odd.
