Has anyone said something about Harry Potter (the series or the character that angered you?

Yes, Twilight fans saying that J K Rowling copied Stephanie Meyers and comparing their books to each others. Their books are two different genres. There is nothing to compare. Harry Potter is 10 x better than that crap.

And also people calling Draco Malfoy a death eater and that he's evil. Sure, the guy was a bully and eventually became a death eater but I will always believe that Draco was just a scare 16 year old boy who just wanted to protect his mother. I think she is the only reason as to why he became a death eater and I don't blame him for that. He made a lot of mistakes but he was a teenager, teenagers do stupid things.

Tbh the fandom itself has been a bit annoying for the past few years with it's "Snape was evil" and "Dumbledore was a bad person" thing. People try to frame them as "unpopular opinions" but I hear them way more than I hear the opposite?? Like can we stop now

There's nothing that makes me really angry, but a few things which annoy me and generally just make me think that those people are stupid:-

1. Religious people who condemn the series for including magic and witches, and assume that as a result it must be Satanic, without realising the positive themes within the series.

2. Twilight fans who insist on comparing the 2 series, stating that JK Rowling copied Meyer when HP was written years previously, and making the thinnest of links like characters sharing the same surname.

Like 90% of the shit that gets said about Bellatrix. Especially on tumblr when venturing out of her fan tags. I was on this HP confessions blog for a while. I ended up unfollowing because I made a light hearted post about how much I loved her hair and people literally turned it into a debate about morality. Like I shit you not, they basically polluted that confession with stuff akin to, 'but u know she'z evul rite???' Like honey, yeah, I been knew but that doesn't negate the fact that she is still a physically good looking lady (in the movies).
God forbid I bring up Bellatrix's loyalty as a positive trait of hers.
Like you can't say one good thing about the antagonists without getting preached at and hit with the whole moral high horse spiel.

Honestly tho, just the treatment of people who are fans of antagonists in general. Not just Bellatrix. But if you like Draco, you like a whiney bully. If you like Snape you like an even bigger whinier bully!! If you like Lucius you must support bigotry. God forbid you show some appreciation for Voldemort's character.

I feel like Bellatrix and Snape's fandoms have it the worst though. That HP confession blog was a cesspool of hatred for Bellatrix, Snape, and anyone who dares like them. >.>

It also annoys me when people go at Rowling for being racist. As far as I know she hasn't done or said anything racist.
It drove me crazy when they tried to 'cancel' her for letting Johnny Depp keep his role in Fantastic Beasts despite the Amber abuse allegations. Which turned out to be bullshit anyhow. Pretty sure Amber is the abuse and she's had several allegations against her. And before anyone can scream sexism; pretty sure she abused a female partner too?

It angers me when people are stupid enough to think that all Christians are against Harry Potter.
