Yep. I went to see the movie with my friend and her mom... We were crying in the car on our way home, the people driving beside us looked at us like we were crazy. xD

I couldn't stop myself..the way he died, trying to save Harry and the others' lives, and uttering Harry's name as life was swept from him...it was terrible. Honestly, I loved Dobby more dearly after that...i really understood his devotion at that time, something which had rather irritated me in part2 when he had so obstinately hurt Harry several times in his desperate attempts to save his life.
I was so overcome by grief and shock at Dobby's death that I was almost dreading to continue reading the book, scared of who we might lose next.
As Harry dug the grave and thought of his losses...Rowling's writing was gettig more and more real and I could almost see and feel what Harry was feeling. You know, like "sinking into an old nightmare" "Harry almost knelt at the bottom of the tallest tower at Hogwarts holding Dumbledore's body" Harry felt, and so did I,that the poor brave house-elf deserved just as great a funeral as Dumbledore.

It was all very sad. I couldn't help my tears flowing:(

No, I never got attached to him. Was never quite sure what to make of this character. I found him to be a little like the annoying character inserted for a bit of comic relief...except I didn't find him funny, just kind of painful and irritating in a grating way...
