Remember, in the third task in Goblet of Fire it was revealed that the wizard's spells can reflect off tough shells or tough skin. So even though we WISH we could Avada Kedavra the vamps in a second, we can't because of their oh-so-sparkly marble skin. You see, the vampires in Twilight are like Blast-Ended Skrewts. Everybody hates them, but the wizards have to put up with them anyway. posted over a year ago.
