1. The writing is better

Is it f**k Stephanie Meyers is diabolical and quite frankly paint drying on a wall is more f**king exciting than her writing and compared to Stephanie Meyers writing, J.K Rowling's writing and detail about each and every character even if some of the characters are only briefly mentioned are absolutely genius

2. The Actors/Actresses who film the movie are talented

What a load of bull for one Kristen Stewart can not act the emotion she shows throughout the entire saga is moody, moody and a little bit more of moody and don't get me started on Robert Pattinson he's not that...

Okay so I've come to realize how all of this is just pointless. People seem to only compare Twilight and Harry Potter because the two are popular. That is a main reason why those two are being compared now. Now to me I have really found this to be pointless. People are comparing a romantic fiction story to a fantasy fiction story.

Now when I realized this is when a comment was made by a user who goes by the name: justmandi23
on the topic "1000 reasons why twilight is better than harry potter" So what she wrote just made me realize what I did. I posted like a lot of reasons in the topic, "1000...

It is not made by me, I found it on a webpage, but I think it's totally true, so I thought I should upload it there.
There are swearing in the text! You were warned.

I am a Twilight fan, and let me spell it out for you:

-I'd say, "Yeah, I'm one of those crazy Twilight people." But no, I'm really not.

-Edward is a too melodramatic and can suck my inexistant dick.

-I hate it when people think 90 percent of Twilight fans are immature middle school girls.

-I hate immature middle school girls who are Twilight fans, cause they give us "normal" Twilight fans a bad reputation.

-I do not wish "Edward waz real...

Okay, so HP and Twilight are good books and movies. But, in order to make money, companies have made some rather.....dumb (or as I say, "Kooky," because it sounds better) products.
I'm not talking about the companion books or the HP wands that actually shoot out a fog patronus at the tap of a button. The ones that I will be discussing will be listed below. I will tell the name of the project, 1-10 on the "Kookiness" (nice word, right?) scale (One meaning not kooky, 10 meaning it should be taken off the shelves). Then, I will give a brief description of the product and why it is so useless....

It was a gloomy night as the members of the Secret Society of Sparkly Vampire Slayers sat around the table and started the meeting.
"Okay, so our new target is a family of vampires." The leader said.
"Um...family?" Zenith, the female vampire slayer asked, straightening her long black hair.
"Yes," The leader said. "The vampire father, Edward, Bella, another vampire, and a recently born half-human half-vampire-"
Zenith leaned forward. "That's....impossible." Thunder boomed loudly outside, lightning lit up the dismal, gloomy, tomb of a room.
"What?"
"The half-human half-vampire. Impossible."

This is just a draft. We've been working on it, but we want to see how you guys react to it so far. We both plan to explain each point further, but we want to know what else you guys want to see addressed.

Youknowit101/Cassie-1-2-3 collaboration.

I asked a question a bit ago asking what bothers you about Bella’s pregnancy. We got some very interesting answers, thank you. We are now here to respond to the points made.
(I’m going to be using words like penis and orgasm, so if you haven’t had a certain talk with your parents yet, you probably shouldn’t read this)

First, we’ll address te...

Please Remember that this is a opinion, if you don;t like it fine but please be civil about it

I have just watched Remember Me staring Robert Pattinson and I was blown away! Seeing him only in Twilight and Harry Potter which was only for a few moments at a time, i was not expecting much from him. I was pretty much expecting the same boring, lifelessness he gives as Edward. Was i WRONG.

He is a decent actor, I think he could go far with his actin carer. I'm not going to give anything away but in this movie Pattinson showed me that you should not base an actors acting on just one film.

I've seen the spot ,it fulls of fights ,and they shouldn't be existed the comparing is very harsh ,how can you compare a girl to boy , there are many differences, the girl searches for true love and she find it ,it's a romantic story talking about vampires ,but harry potter talks about wizards ,it has a lot adventures ,but they have something in common they are fantasy stories then tell me how could anyone compare wizards to vampires who drink human blood with wizards are magical people who defend their self's with magical things. They are clever skillful.

Okay, firstly, I’ve no intention of hurting the Twilight fans here. I’m just a fiercely opinionated person, and some of the things I say might end up sounding rude. So please keep in mind that I really don’t mean anything rude that I might say in the article. Read on :)

Many people say that Twilight is well written. When I ask the said people why they think so, most of them invariably refer to the “big words” in Twilight.
Now, if using big words makes a book good, an ape with a thesaurus can write a completely fabulous novel. Sadly, this isn’t the case: the poor apes are doomed for...

Joanne watched carefully, but her mind was still reeling with what Stephanie Meyer had said. She felt a strange, strong desire to beat Stephanie and her disco vampires. She watched the battle extra closely, especially the Vampires, for any wrong move.
--------
The jets of light from the spells where flying everywhere. Harry was tempted to use Avada Kedavra and finish the battle, but it was illegal. The Vamps where dancing everywhere, but the Wizards had exceptionally good aim.
“Petrificus Totalus!” yelled Ron, hitting the whiny female Vampire right in the chest.
“Good one!” congratulated...

Somewhere in the world right now there is a girl.

She is sitting on her bed crying because her boyfriend told her she couldn't see her good friend. He erased her e-mail from her contacts, he keeps them apart in school hallways and classes and he took her drivers liscence so she can't drive to her house. Her boyfriend is always with her. They are barely seen apart if they can be together, often alone. He decides where she goes and the only compliments he ever tells her is "your beautiful", "you're a clutz".

To write Twilight, to pass that (above) off as love is unfair to that one girl who is sitting on her bed, crying.
Alright I haven't gotten a chance to revise and edit this so it's still kind of a list type thing. I guess I'll finish later. One point for now.

While reading the popular teen book Twilight, I couldn't help but notice some rather disturbing problems, and some facts that just don't add up.

For starters, Twilight is anti feminist. How can it be anti-feminist? you might ask. Well here's how, Bella is always staying at home tending to either her father, her boyfriend, or her boyfriends family. Meyer cleverly disguises this by saying "oh well Charlie can't cook" and "there's nothing better to do"....

There was once a young girl called, at least on Fanpop, GemonkDruid. One day, she picked up this interesting book at the library. "Ooh," she said. "It's about 400 pages long, and has an interesting cover. Must be a good read then."

So she borrowed it, using her library card, and brought it home. It was forgotten for a little while, but then on a boring rainy day, she decided, "What the heck, I should just read it." So she did. First chapter, second chapter, third, etc. Until before she knew it, she finished the whole book.

And what was the first thing she thought when she finished it?

The answer:...

Alright everybody! I've been going around this spot a lot, and I have seen many people giving the same points over the series they like, over, and over again and never come out with something fresh and new. I have also seen that some people had made very rude comments on other user's posts(questions, forum entries, pictures, etc), and those rude comments end up in arguements, user's being flagged, and other things. I personally believe we should stop giving the same opinions and posting rude comment in order to defend your side.

First of all, don't post the same facts and opinions! Here's an...

Some people wanted me to post my answer as an article ...

Since TwilightGurl made an account and will be seeing my response, I decided I would respond because she doesn't know why people don't agree with her. So, here I go:

1.Theres too much swearing. Ron says “blo*dy H*ll” all the time, and Molly weasley calls Bellatrix Lestrange a B*TCH in the last book! Thats seriously unaceptable! I mean little kids are reading that stuff!!! That kind of language is really bad!

I don't particularly like Ron's swearing either, but he's the only character that excessively swears and I'm sure you know someone...

It all started when i was little. My father invited me to watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I declined for the reason that I do not like these kinds of stories before.

Many years have passed...

My best friend, who is a Harry Potter fanatic convinced me to watch the series which I was to choose between Harry Potter parts I, II and III. I chose the third one because of the cool CD illustration.

I did became a fanatic.

Today, I have watched all released movies and read all books including the book Quidditch Through the Ages.

Last year when I was first year in high school (school levels...

We've all seen and/or participated in discussions regarding who is "the better Bella". Many of you are also aware of the Charlies, and the two Alices. This got me thinking, exactly how many characters from these two series have the same names?

Out of boredom, I compiled this list of characters with same or similar names as another character from the opposing series.
You'll notice this list only includes first name comparisons.

NOTE: I am not accusing anyone of stealing anything. This is just for fun.

Twilight names are to the left, Harry Potter names on the right.

Hiya everyone! I saw this on the LOTR section and I thought, "Hm, this sounds like fun." I don't have much knowledge on LOTR (although I'm reading the books, it's taking some time to digest) so I thought it would be equally as fun as making an HP or Twilight character so I decided to make this.
