I just read this article called "Harry Potter Errors", that was published a long while ago. Here's one of the errors mentioned:
2.A world void of love
Explanation: The reason why Harry survived Voldemort's attack was because his mother died trying to protect him, and according to Dumbledore this is a very rare magic. Ok...then what a world of douches that is! During thousands of wizardry history of Dark Wizards, very few people died trying to protect someone? And Voldemort killed thousands of people, yet only one tried to protect someone they loved? Hang on a sec! I recall something:
"Gregorovitch?"said a high cold voice
She shook her head (...)
"Where is he?"
"He move! I know not, I know not!"
He raised the wand. She screamed. Two young children came running into the hall. She tried to shield them with her arms. There was a flash of green light---"(DH, Magic is Might,p.232-233)
Woops. So it did happen again. Ah well, Rowling was just distracted.
"Fine. I've just seen Voldemort murdering a woman. By now he's probably killed her whole family"(DH, Might is Magic, p.233 near the end of page)
Well, you have to meet me halfway Rowling if you want me to defend you!
This error disturbed me at first, because it's quite a big one. I was surprised this hadn't occurred to JKR while writing the books.
I later realized that this may not be an error.
Harry was protected not just because Lily threw herself in front of him. He was protected because she chose to die for him instead of saving her own life. Let me explain this - Voldemort gave Lily a choice: Step aside and save your life or stand in front of Harry and die (Quote: "Stand aside, you silly girl... Stand aside, now.") He even contemplated throwing her aside and killing Harry(All this was because Snape had asked him to try and keep Lily alive). Lily chose to shield Harry, even though she could have survived by moving aside. In other words, Lily chose her death over Harry's. The key word here isn't "sacrifice", it's "choice". The woman in the extract above didn't have a choice: even if she hadn't protected her children, she would have died eventually. Voldemort is evil at it's worst. He doesn't give people choices, he prefers finishing of everything that's in his way. The one time he gave his victim a choice, he was slapped on the face with immense bravery and love that caused his killing curse to backfire.
It seems appropriate to quote Dumbledore here, "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
The importance of choice is highlighted throughout the series. Lily's choice, along with the love she had for her son, ultimately lead to the destruction of Voldemort.
To me, this says - When the choice you make is driven by love, it has to be the right one.
And people say Harry Potter doesn't have love?

I found this when I randomly looked up "Twihard"
Twihard-
Stupid obsessive people (mostly teenage girls) who are "in love with fictional characters and wouldn't know a good book if it punched them in the face."
Twihard: "OMG!! Isn't Edward Cullen like so hot??? I'm gonna marry him!!!"
Awesome person who isn't insane: "Dude, he's not real."
Twihard: "How could you say that?! I'm in love with him!!"
