A Dare for All Twilight Haters!

1) edward was PRETTY when he sparkled
2) the cheerleaders at my school don't spread roumurs anymore, theyre too busy with twilight
3) my mom isn't afraid of vampires anymore from it
4) it made me realize how much I love harry potter
5) it made me notice my character was a mary sue
6) its funny, even when it's not supposed to be!
7) Werewolves can be cute in human form.
8) hot dogs and marshmellows taste good when using twilight fire
9) the cover images are.... unique...
10) It made me realize there is a place named after a utensil. Forks.

Well, I now know that if my sparkly abusive boyfriend dumps me, I should go jump off a cliff for my pedophile best friend to save me.

1. keep me warm in the winter (fuel for fires)
2. i learned about abusive boyfriends and why they are bad
3. the movies were very funny
4. it got Taylor Lautner famous (though he kinda doesn't deserve it since he still owes me a soda from back when I was in fourth grade - never gave it to me yet)
5. the books kept me occupied for a few weeks
6. i learned it's okay to be a Mary Sue
7. I learned it's important to be hot
8. the pages in the book burn easily - good fire starters
9. i can roast marshmellows over my fire made out of Twilight books

I'll try...

1. It improved my writing skills.
I learned how NOT to write a book, how NOT to use the word "chagrin", and how to avoid writing a plotless pointless piece of fluff.

2. It boosted my confidence.
I'm a writer myself. I have learned from Twilight that if this piece of crap could be published, ANYTHING could be published! I now have hope that when I finish my two novels, they will be published.

3. Eclipse entertained me for a few minutes.
Me and my friend were bored, so we threw the book out my bedroom window several times, until the binding broke. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

4. It made Forks, Washington rich.
Can you imagine how many annoying screaming girls they get there every day? Well, at least they get more money off of that.

5. It was HILARIOUS!
I laughed several times in the books. I laughed every time someone said to Bella that she was "unusually mature for someone her age" and things like that. I laughed at all the mistakes in word usage that SMeyer used to try to make herself sound more intelligent. And I laughed when Edward sparkled. That was a joke, right?

I'm running out here!

6. It's creative.
That is true. Even if the creativity is just an excuse to make her characters seem more "perfect" to the shallow eye, it is creativity. Not many people would think of writing about a sparkling vampire, after all.

7. I never felt grief during the course of the story.
I never had to cry for any characters dying or having some horrible fate bestowed upon them. I didn't feel anything when Edward left. I didn't worry during any of the fight scenes because I knew all the "good guys" would come out alive and well, anyway.

8. It made more girls take interest in writing.
It's true. Even if half the stories are corny vampire romances now, at least it's some sort of contribution to the world of literature.

9. There were many messages to learn from the story!
For example, "Abuse is romantic," "Stalking is hot," "Pedophilia is okay because you can't help it," "All good people are pretty," "There's no point in living if you don't have a boyfriend," and "Females are weak. Males should always dominate them."

10. It taught me many new ways to describe someones physical beauty!
How many times does Bella drone on about how gorgeous her boyfriend is? Does it EVER end? Is that all she freaking cares about? How hot he is? Lust, much?

I struggled toward the end, but I feel accomplished now XD

ok, I'll try, this might be hard, i'm a bit neutral in the 'war';
1. it has brought people back into literature, they can remember what a novel is now
2. it lets those of us in bad reationships (which i'm not btw) see that it could be worse
3. it's led to some truly hilarious parodies ('nightlight')(LOL)
4. it allows people to practice their debating skills, whether your a twihard or an anti, you must argue
5. it reminds us to cherish true fantasy when we see it (and I don't neccesarily mean HP; 'Dracula' has REAL vampires.
6. it has opened a new genre! I saw the other day in a book store, 'paranormal romance'. Great.
7. It shows us that WWII is a mere skirmish compared to the Twihards VS the antis online
8. It brings issues of feminism to peoples attention and shows us that descrimination is apparently still an issue
9. It's put eating apples back into fashion. Now eating healthy food is cool!
10. More room in other fandoms for me! (but I won't tell you which ones cos then i'd get lynched for not being in love with Twilight)

How'd i go?

1. I learned the word "irrevocably".

2. I found out that Cedric's alive!

3. I now have a reason to unblock my fireplace.

4. I learned to stay away from people who sparkle.

3. It is a perfect example for Mary Sues.
4. It can help your English grade, because Twilight is the easiest book to write a negative review of. I got top grades on it.
5. It teaches us about bad relationships.
6. It turns people into Harry Potter fans. Twilight fangirls who read arguments against it, and then realise they should go read Harry Potter instead.
7. It helps us appreciate good literature. Twilight is not it.
8. It gives us antis something to laugh about.
9. It started the ideas for the epic Cedric/Edward pairing.
10. It proves that everyone can get published. Even you. Even Stephenie Meyer.

i ll gv it a try though m a loyal HP fan..

1. it inculcates reading habit in many non readers.

2. puts up a few good debatable points, thereby improving debating skills of many twilight fans and anti-twilighters.

3. sends across a message of self sacrifice for the sake of loved ones. though hardly any one sacrifices anything, but atleast provided a general idea to readers about it, that one should be prepared for self sacrifice if the need arises!!

4. some learning points to readers, that they should not do the same mistakes as portrayed in the twilight books!

5. it made a non-deserving author like Stephenie Meyer that rich, put her in such position that she could compare her work to that of classic authors like Shakespeare.

6. there is some tiny bit of creativity in the books!! she did thought of shape-shifters and sparkling vampires after all!

7. gave a boost to careers of actors like Kirsten Stewart, Robert Patterson and Taylor Lautner!

8. through Jacob, it shows what lenghts friends can go to save thier friends, he abandones his pack for bella!!

9. it also shows how people tend to be imperfect and make mistakes, while they try their best in their hearts!! likewise their were many mistakes in twilight quoted by HP fans on other forums, like Jacob trying in earnest to be Bella's best friend yet keeps on making errors!!

10. it makes fans like me appreciate Harry Potter series even more!!It has also led to discussions on subjects like mental abuse, pedophile, etc!!

[P.S.: I still feel that HP is way ahead from twilight in almost all the points i have mentioned above, exception being pt. 5 as JKR totally deserves it all!!]

Hardest Challenge EVER!

Hmm...well! I can't turn down a dare!

1. It got young girls to read more.
2. The covers are pretty cool
3. You get to learn tons of words that are all synonymous to "beautiful".
4. The movies are funny. (When you see it like I see it anyway.)
5. The movies DO have good music...
6. It shows that ANYONE can write. (Sorry, I just HAD to put that...)
7. The shape shifters/werewolves were pretty cool...
8. Seth and Leah Clearwater.
9. The Volturi.
10. Guys can now wear glitter and be considered hot by some girls. (I'm sorry, I just had to put that too...Pfft, sparkly vampires. Puhleeze.)

HA. I actually made it. That wasn't so hard! As long as I got to make fun of Twilight along the way...

Easy. Ten good things about Twilight? (In order):

1. Made me realize how lucky I am not to have permanently fallen in the Twitard zone *shudders* - I remember when I first fell in love with the series. I now feel extremely fortunate that I did not end up to be one of those girls, and got out of my phase. In all seriousness, I am honestly relieved that I am not a Twitard.
2. Made me realize how lucky I am to have Harry Potter in my life.
3. Gives me a sense of vindictive pleasure when I own the Twitards at my school in an argument.
4. I now understand the basics of a patriarchal society, the danger of pedophillia, and having an abusive boyfriend.
5. It is an excellent saga to do a report on:
a) Patriarchy
b) Anti-feminists
c) Why fairy-tales corrupt young girls' minds
d) Authors who are thesaurus rapists
e) The difference between good and poor literature
6. It DOES make a good bonfire.
7. Allows me to feel a lot smarter than I am when I read all the other HP fans' comments, in comparison to the Twitards' comments. (Boosts self-esteem).
8. Gives me a happy thought that my FanFic friends can, too, get published, if SMeyer can.

4. Sparkly douche bag dumps you? Jump of a cliff and talk to the same people who almost raped you last year XD

5. We now know 126 different ways (the ammount of times Bella reffered to Edward as good looking in Twilight alone) to describe someone as beautiful.

6. Always choose you abusive boyfriend over your family and friends, why not?

7. We are reminded every chapter that we will die one day, its a good heads up.

8. When your vampire boyfriend is in a fight with a phyco awesome vampire (Victoria) and he starts loosing, there really is only one thing to do... try to cut yourself with a stick :)
