Is there a book that people like MORE than Harry Potter or Twilight?

No. No there is not. Harry Potter rules. Period. ^-^

Harry Potter isn't really one of my favourite books; I loved it when I was a bit younger and I still have a lingering affection for it because of that. I do find it fun to talk about though!! And I enjoy challenging Twilight, too. :D

My favorite book is Harry Potter, no doubt! But another novel I enjoyed was The Outsiders, by S.E. HInton. You should read it; it's very inspiring.

Generally speaking...no...

All over the world Harry Potter dominates the entire world, with it's great storyline, teachings, well- developed characters, etc. Twilight is up there too (though I am a HP fan) and has many fans as well, but arguably less than Harry Potter.
Personally to me, I have several favorite books, though Harry Potter was the first big chapter book I ever read and it has taken the second to first place on my favorite book list. Other books that I enjoy include...

But probably the best book I ever read was the Da Vinci Code and its predecesser Angels and Demons. Those were phenomenal books!=)

The Eragon series is really good.And so is the Percy Jackson series and so is the Found series.I also luved the house of the scorpians by magret peterson haddix,Flush by Carl Hiassan,Nothing but the truth by AVI,& the wanderer by Sharon Creech.

Harry Potter is the best! Some other books i liked were the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan, the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke, The Thief Lord also by Cornelia Funke, The bodies left behind by Jeffery Deaver, and the Evermore series by Alyson Noel.

I adore Harry Potter, but it is not my number one book/series. The best one I have read so far is Legend of the Ice People by Margit Sandemo, 47-volume series, that is just super amazing. It has everything, from history to magic and romance. Simply wonderful. Harry Potter is my number two :)

Until a week ago I would have said 'no' because I love HP so much but now I have to admit there is a book I like more: "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. (The book and musical are different in a lot of ways but both are awesome!) I don't love Wicked in the obsessive way I love HP but if I compared the books to each other... I really think Wicked wins.
It's quite disturbing to me actually since I didn't think I'd ever like anything better than HP ^^

I DONT KNOW BUT I HOPE THAT THEY MAKE A NEW BOOK CAUSE IM TIRED OF HEARING EVEYONE TALK ABOUT TWILIGHT IN MY SCHOOL.

I think the Harry Potter series would definitely be my favourite books but I like others too.

I'm about to start reading Lord of the Rings, hopefully tomorrow. I loved the movies, and going by the rule 'book always pwns movie' I think they'll end up on the list.

I also love Inkheart, but I haven't put it on here because I still haven't read Inkdeath. As a perfectionist, I have to have matching covers when I buy a book series and for some bizarre reason, I ended up with the first two in paperback (I usually get hardback, it was a bit weird) so I had to wait for 6 months to buy the book so they all matched, and by that point, I started reading and I was like "WTF, I'm so confused. I forgot what happened in the last book." So I have to reread th first two, and I never got around to it.

So that was an enormous ramble. Anyway, Potter's my favourite, but I do read other things, and as you can see, I'm a sucker for kids' fantasy.

Harry Potter will be my best favorite.But in case you want another series,I think it is Lord Of The Rings and in my opinion it is on par with Harry Potter,just that Harry Potter characters' are easier to relate to.

It was not until recently that I discovered my love for literature. I did read before that, but I never put any thought or speculation into my reading. They were just books, and at that time, they were all the same to me. This may be because I read a lot of crappy books...
For the past year, however, I've learnt to appreciate books and yet find flaws. I've learnt to recognise when a book is bad. I've made a habit of writing book reviews for my blog.
What I'm trying to say is that I haven't read too many "proper" books, and out of the ones I've read, Harry Potter is my favourite. I just finished Interview with the Vampire and Pride and Prejudice and enjoyed both of them, but I think Harry Potter will always be my first love when it comes to the world of fiction.

I read the first four HP books in Norwegian when I was 7++ They didn't capture my attention because the translation was so bad. When I reread them, and finally finished the series last year (in English) I absolutely loved them. I suddenly understood how great the books really were. Harry Potter was the series that got me into reading, and for that reason it will always be my favourite.

twilight lost its lustre after new moon when we saw just how weird r-patz's/edward cullen's nipples were...we then realised that they SPARKLE!!! next, we found out the twilight series novels were the same story line stretched out over four books...they're were okay, not great.
i never really liked harry potter...again, they're okay...not great...

If anything comes close to being better than Harry Potter... It's The Giver. But I like Harry Potter better.
