I agree with it, because Harry Potter has been around for many years, since 1997, and Twilight has been around since..2005/2006? I think a lot of people are only interested in Edward, and not the story as much.
Many of us have grown up with the Harry Potter books, and through our process of growing up, we have learnt to live with harry and his crew, and we have also developed certain emotions as well through reading the stories, and the tough times that Harry goes through help us through our tough times too.
There have been stories about Vampires before Twilight, and they have 'faded' away, so i'm sure that after Breaking Dawn(the movie) all of this will soon die down, and people won't worship it anymore.
For me, when i am feeling down, i can read a Harry Potter, and drift off into the world described inside of the book, and when finished, i feel happy and satisfied. When i read Twilight when i'm down, i don't really feel anything, which sort of sucks, because i want to feel emotive when reading a book. If you see where i'm coming from?
So yeah, hopefully that was a good enough answer.
(I have put faded in ' because i couldn't think of another word to use.)
