I have completely changed my mind, HP is better than Twilight, i have read both series, and i have now come to that agreement with myself. After weighing out the pros and cons, it seems that HP, is the better story. (:
This is what Harry Potter has done to us: "Don’t you ever wonder what will happen when it ends? How can we let go of the ones who we call friends? And I know, it’s only a story, but for so many it’s more than that; it’s a world, all on its own where we want to put on the Sorting Hat." (Lyrics from Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls).
This is what Twilight has done to us: "Edward and Bella have such an amazing romantic relationship, I love Edward, but I also love Jacob; I think it's SWEET how he fell in love with Renesmee." (Lyrics from, well, nothing). Ew, ew, ew.
HARRY POTTER FOR THE WIN. We don't need reasons. :)
Iam!!! :D I heart HP, it's so amazing. it's mind boggling how someone can write the way J.K does. It's amazing. Great story lines, no Mary Sue characters, none of her relatives were in there either. (: loveit
I'm a HP-fan too! :D
It's the most epic series ever!
I joined this spot because I never liked twilight and ever since my sister became a twihard my dislike has grown stronger. By now I really love to hate twilight! :D
@pinkyshadow45: As you can see, some people who are not native-speakers try to write decent english because they want to be understood! try that next time you want to insult anyone.
I am. :) Proud one. I don't remember exactly how old I was when I first started liking HP, but I know it was before I was 11. I was so crushed when I didn't get my Hogwarts letter. :( Talk about breaking a little kid's heart.
And even in my prepubescent age, I still had a crush on my (would-be) Potions master. *Represent* And I'm not ashamed to admit that either. XD I love older men.
I've been more than slightly obsessed with Harry Potter since I was 12. I remember seeing the books in my school library, and thinking they didn't really look that good- at least, I couldn't understand the hype my librarian was giving them. On a trip to Sydney, I was allowed one present- I choose Chamber of Secrets without realizing it was the second one. After I had read it four times in a week, I was allowed Philosopher's Stone and never looked back. Harry (and more importantly Severus) have been with me ever since, and hopefully, for a long time to come. :)
i am i love harry potter i have never read twilight and now don't intend to thanks to all the crazy rude offensive twihards i think harry potter fans are way better at least we don't post harry potter stuff all over fanpop its called fucking respect seriously if i hear team edward or jacob one more time i will fucking lose it harry potter is and always will be better than twilight and i don't have to read twilight to know that it has a better story line, better characters and of course way way better fans no competition i'm proud to be a harry potter fan
I've been a die-hard, obsessed fan since I was seven or eight. It's been awhile (I'm fifteen now), and I recently read the series over again (for the ninth time), have just discovered Wrock, have just re-discovered my old HP games for PC, and watched some of the movies with my younger sister, who just started reading them. I couldn't get off my Harry Potter high if I tried. It's incredibly powerful, this series- it speaks to you in an indescribable way. We are very lucky that Ms. Rowling just happened to think of the boy with the lightning scar...
Oh, and a die-hard anti-Twilighter. :)
