The two are massively popular, with millions of fans. They're both known by many people. Just go up to someone and talk to them about either one and they'll say, "Oh yeah I know that."
People compare the two because, again, they are both popular to the crowd.
To me, there are very few points that you can argue about the two. Fiction, mythology, can't think of anything else which proves my point that the two have very few things in common.
P.S. Please use correct grammar, it's best to do that to have people take you more seriously. Plus it's a very short question it should not be hard to revise it and correct it. Unless you a foreigner that is new to the English language.

It gives people a sense of power, like they are going to win if they bring the other team down with insults. My favorite is Twilight sucks. Get it He is a vampire and he sucks blood. haha. THe unfortuanate thing about Twilight though is they have to worry about HArry POtter AND Team Edward and Team Jacob. sigh ow why that started idk because team edward has already won.

You can't compare Twilight to HArryPotter.
They are 2 different novels with no bonds or connections between them.
The only bond is that in a HarryPotter and the Goblet of fire,
Cedric Diggory was played by Robert Pattinson in which we all know is now Edward Cullen.
this spot is made to criticize twilight mainly.
It is dominated by HP fans who possibly created the spot.
And just want to express they're ideas and opinions.
I find it undisturbing to express your own opinion(As long as it doesn't go to further and that's when Its geting annoying)
Sometimes we tend to protect the 'thing' we like and prefer from all the obstacles.
