Why does there have to be a rivalry between the two fandoms? Why can't we get along?

I know how this all started. One word THE MEDIA. They started to ask that stupid question " Is Twilight the new Harry Potter?" " Looks like there is a new J.k. Rowling" " Vampires are the new Wizards". Yes for some that may be the case. But just because the Harry Potter books are over and the Twilight movies are beginning doesnt mean we all drop everything and turn to Twilight. Bunch of Cash Cows. Its a stupid comparison anyway, HP is far superior.

There has to be a rivalry because people think Twilight is as good as Harry Potter, and it isn't. Harry Potter is way better, and Twihards need to accept that Twilight is never going to be as popular as Harry Potter.

Harry potter rocks. Deal with it.

I think that it has all been said above and i couldn't agree more! It is alos because most Twilighters watched the movie and thought that it was so rubbish that they should see if the book was any better (which, in my opinon, wasn't), whereas with Harry Potter, the films seemed really great and so people never bothered to read the books, when ultimately, the books were so mind-blowing that they could never even look up to the movies! (and the movies were ace!)

♪…hmmm.they say twilight is better than harry potter,while others say that harry poter is better than twilight and CHILDISH etc...i can say that they are the one who are CHILDISH c0z theyre still fighting about the two great movies,.i dont h8 twilight c0z thats a great movie,and harry potter t0o...those childish ou there,stop comparing these 2 movies c0z they were all MADE IN HOLLYWOOD...^_^

ok i agree i like both and im here for the disscussion!!what i hate the most is when making picks harry potter fans make the twilight stuff sound awfull and the twilight fans make the harry potter stuff sound awfull!get over it people. people pick what they want not what sounds best!!

Oh come on! It's fun to argue! It's not like we're threatening each other! It's just a heated discussion! People should be free to express and defend what ever they please, while others argue that theirs is better!
