Why are we all like this?

I respect peoples right to their own opinion but this question has really ticked me off! You owe every girl in "girl population" an apology for implying that they are slutty and stupid! I suppopse you think that someone obsessing over drugs or alcohol would be smarter? True some fans may take it to the extreme by stalking their obsession but those are rare cases. And the last time I looked the only thing Robert Pattinson was influencing people to do is to see his movies! You owe everyone on here an apology...Seriously!

To me, it is amazing how one person can influence so many people. But I don't believe it is a bad thing.
Having feelings for someone is always a good thing.
But with Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson, I have loved him ever since he played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
So he pretty much had me hooked from there.

If we choose to fall hard for these guys, that's our choice, and how we feel.
As long as this "obsession" is displayed in a healthy way, it's all good (:

I'm going to say what i think: I think that be obcessed with someone is very bad. We can be a big fans, bu not be obsessed. But i think that the girls are obsessed with Edward Cullen because he was a character done for be loved.

this is just a shot in the dark here,but i think the reason alot of girls are obsessed with edward is that the movie was geared toward young teen girls.they are at the age where alot of them are learning what they would like in a man.And lets face it edward is a true gentleman,and most guys these days are not,and most ladies look for that.now the young need to look below the serface to the real man behind Edward.Rob is a great guy and has alot of great qualities about him,but he to has faults,and is not perfect,but if i was lookinf for a guy rob would be on top of my list,because to me he is a truely beautiful person inside.

I personally don't like Edward is that good looking. I would take Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt hell even Hugh Laurie over Robert Patterson. People Just like him because that's what the media wants you to like. It was the same when I was 11-13 years old. everyone drooling over BSB, N'sync, Otown, the moffatts, hanson. We are smart, but also being humans we are defensive and like to show our love for things that we feel strongly about.
And as humans... we also love to complain and no matter what people think... we do. We really do!

Eh...not everyone like him...I hate him and hes so ugly...Why does everyone adore him???He is soooo ugly and i think jacob and other people are hotter....Even harry potter is nicer than that guy edward....EDWARD SUCKS!
