Harry Potter Vs. Twilight Question

Is it normal to cry for a dead fictional character (Fred) for weeks and cry so much you can't stop?

When i read that sentence where it said that Fred was forever gone i cried and stop reading, i cried so bad because how can George live without Fred, it's like Batman without Robbin, like my left leg withought the right (weird i know)!!!!! I was soooooooooooo sad and cried a lot!!!!!!!!!!

i also was totaly devastated.I couldn't believe my eyes.I scanned the page a 100 times, and then i'd to realise that horrible truth.

I didn't cry, which is very unlike me.I was very sad though, still am. :(

But I don't think it's weird, it's perfectly natural to respond that way to something you find upsetting. I lived in a state of depression while I was reading "the Kite Runner".

But anyway, you shouldn't worry about it. It just shows you have enough empathy to put yourself in other's positions. Count yourself lucky, empathy is a very useful tool for life. :)

MrsRadcliffe, think of it this way. Fred will now be remembered by everyone like " The hero who sacrifised himself to save others." And I'm sure George is very proud of him, and is living a happy life with his family and friends. As for the question " Did he ever find out about the winning of Harry Potter and the fact that the dark lord was deafeted", Yes. I am SURE he knows.

well, it's an author's job to draw you to a book and bring you into it. since JKR did that to HP fans, it's only natural for someone to cry over someone who they felt was close to their hearts. simple as that
