Always bashing Twilight!

Well I agree. I feel that whenever a Twilight fan says something supportive about their side of an argument, people always go and tell them off, and most of the time, it's rather uncalled for. Just because someone makes an opinion doesn't mean it's wrong or right, that's why it's an opinion, and to tell them their opinion is wrong isn't right or wrong to do either. Harry Potter fans are not higher up than Twilight fans and while some of you may say "Oh of course we're better than Twilight fans because they can't spell or base their opinions on anything", it migh tjust be because you haven't given them a chance. when you do, you just end up criticizing them more and saying their wrong a bunch of times over. Yes, I'll admit I have been a part of some of those things, but lately I'm just getting sick of people putting down Twilight fans. We aren't even letting them defend themselves and it's just not right. This may just be the just and fair Hufflepuff in me speaking, but I think we Harry Potter fans need to cool down a bit.

Wow, Blueeyes99, you read my mind there. Every time I look at the posts, not just the top 4, I see tons of bashing going on, and it’s very one sided. I’d like to see some Twilight fans take action!

I think you're right, that people shouldn't just bash Twilight...if by "bashing" you mean people saying "Twilight sucks, end of story". But, if people are actually backing up their opinion, then it's fine. Here's an example: take the topic of not liking Edward. An answer that bashes is one such as "Edward is gay because he's never had sex with a girl before Bella". But an answer such as "Edward is an abusive boyfriend, because he acts like Bella's opinion doesn't matter. There's also proof of this in book three when he has Alice hold Bella hostage just because he doesn't want Bella seeing Jacob, which shows complete obliviation to how Bella's feelings." Answers like that are not bashing; they are pure debate.

Maybe the fact is that there are more flaws in Twilight to be pointed out than in Harry Potter, or there are more people who support Harry Potter than Twilight. This isn't our fault. Go promote this spot on other Twilight spots; there's hundreds of them! Just because one side finds something to point out more than the other side doesn't mean that anyone is "bashing"; it simply means that the HP fans have something to say that the Twilight fans either can't back up or just ignore.

And just for the record, there is an "1,000 Reasons Why Twilight is Better Than Harry Potter" forum; HP fans just try to justify every "reason" the Twilight fans come up with. (Now THAT'S real debate.)

If Twilighters would make a valid arguement. And this is a vs. spot so buck up or ship out. Plus we have had to deal with the random shit of " Harry Potter sucks, Twilight and Stephanie Meyer are so much Better, Edward is OMG sooo HOT." Please cry me a river, and get a life you losers.

You're definitely missing something. There's a 1000 Reasons Why Twilight Is Better Than Harry Potter. The reason you hardly ever seen it in your updates is because people don't post as often as it's opposite. And I see tons of "Twilight is better than Harry Potter posts."

It's not as one sided as you think, if you care to look past the top four updates.

Actually, it's just that there's not to many Twilight supporters over here. HP fans outnumber them, so that's partially why there's not as much pro-Twilight stuff. :)

That's because there are more Harry Potter fans present on this spot. There is, in fact, a forum called "1000 reasons Twilight is better than Harry Potter." It's not seen as much though because it is updated less often. The reason you see the opposite forum more is because of the fact I stated earlier, there are more Harry Potter fans. This spot would seem less one-sided if Twilight fans actually came here.

And you're comment about people here being "bored", well that's kind of true. Like you said, this is supposed to be a debate spot between Harry Potter and Twilight. If there are no Twilight fans here, what are the Harry Potter fans supposed to do? Debate amongst each other? No. Us Harry Potter fans are waiting for some Twilight fans to show up so we can actually do what we're supposed to do here, debate.

Twilight fans are not stating their opinion.In picks they pick the Twilight side,but they never comment.The HP fans always give a huge list of reasons why they like HP.And Twilight fans bash about HP,too.Open your eyes and you would see it's the other way around!

Twilight fans just don't answer our questions. We answer there's all the time. When we do get an answer for a very common question (Why do you like Twilight), they sometimes just answer: Because the actors are hot!

Look it's not our fault (partially our because im half and half)that you guys never do anything, and when someone does you just sit there (or stand or whatever)i would do something but i'm to afraid i'll get bashed by the rest of the harry potter fans because you would do nothing! :)

It's as simple as that!
We're not really unfair, most of us have valid reason that support our argument while you guys just sit there staring at the screen for someone to write something back!

Well, if you actually had valid reasons on why Twilight is better, then we'd back off.

This spot is a ghost town for Twilight fans, which is why it seems like it's an anti-Twilight spot. If more Twi-fans showed up and tried to come up with valid reasons, things would be much more even between the two fanbases.
