Harry Potter Vs. Twilight Question

I love my mom. XD

Today I walked into my living room, and my mom asked me, in all honesty, "What's 'Eclipse?' Everyone (on Facebook) keeps talking about it." I replied that it was the newest Twilight movie, and she made a priceless face and exclaimed, "Ewwww." She surprised me; I knew she wasn't a fan, but I didn't think that she knew much about it to really have an opinion on it.

She then launched into how Robert Pattinson had looked alright as Cedric from HP, but he wasn't attractive at all as Edward. And (this surprised me) how ugly she thought Taylor was. "I saw him on this interview, and he was smiling this big, goofy, 'hyuk hyuk hyuk' smile. It completely grossed me out." She didn't actually know the actors' or characters' names, but she certainly doesn't get why most of America is swept up with the Twilight phenomenon. "We need some new young actors, if this is all we have right now."

Totally random and pointless, but she totally cracked me up with that today. XDDD And she would be in the 'Twimom' age range, I think, so I wanted to cheer for her and hug her and tell her how awesome she is. Not meant to offend any Twilight fans in any way. Go Mom!

Your mom is awesome. Funny how yesterday my mom talked to me about Eclipse being in theaters. I don't think she's a fan, but she got mad when I replied, "Is that something I should care about?" Then my brother told my mom that I act that way when discussing something I don't like. Then my mom said to me that I should've said something different, but that's just me.

Well the weird thing is that yesterday, my dad rented a werewolf movie and today a vampire movie. What a weird Twilight coincidence isn't?
