Have any Twilight fans (the hard-core, obsessive type) actually read 'Harry Potter'?

I really, really do love Twilight, but I know where the line is and where we all need to stop.
I'm not overly obsessive like some. I enjoy a healthy debate about the two. And I try not to waste my time with the unintelligent ones (even though they drive me mad, and I have to say something).

Yes, I have read the Harry Potter series. Twice over, and I have throughly enjoyed. Its amazing! Unique . . . and my gosh, how could you not love it! J.K Rowling has some imagination, just mindblowing.

There is so much more detail in the Harry Potter books, compared to Twilight. I think the Twilight Series would have been better if it wasn't written in Bella's point of view. I know that that would be somewhat weird and messed up, but it would stop us having to read parts where Bella is just drooling over Edward, etc. I think that's one factor about why people say that book is written badly, and whatnot.

I`m a obsessed Twilight fan and I`ve read all the Harry Potter books including The tales of Beedle the Bard and one more which name i`m not sure about. I can say Harry Potter started fine - nice story, great actor selection for the movies - i started liking Alan Rickman, Jason Isaacs and David Thewlis because of the Harry Potter movies. BUT there`s a huge, enormous mistake that made me HATE Harry Potter - the illogical happy ending. I wanted Voldemort to win because too many favorite characters died for Harry. Now i like Twilight more - the story goes slow, smooth and everything has a reason. Twilight is much better than Harry Potter even though Stephanie says she can`t be compared to Rowling because Rowling`s better. Not true. It`s just that Harry Potter was the first to awake the passive reader community. It`s because of being first, that`s all the noise about. That`s what i think.

Yes, this question has already been asked, and Twilight fans did give answers. I have no idea if any hard-core, obsessive ones did, though.

Why has no one asked a question about if all of the HP fans in this spot have read Twilight? There was even a pick where I saw that some HP fans haven't read Twilight, so why is it that this question is always asked, and not one for HP fans?

And calling them "airhead" fans is not going to score you any points with any Twilight fans nor will it increase your chances of them answering this question without throwing an insult at you.

Oh, and I do think that Robert Pattinson is hotter, but that's just my opinion, just like Alan and Dan being hotter is your opinion. And I have seen how Dan looks in Equus and I have seen Alan. You're acting like anyone who likes Rob more is wrong.

To answer your question, I have read every single one of the books and have seen all of the movies, but should I really answer this question if I'm not a hard-core, obsessive type?

I'm a Twilight fan and I only read one Harry Potter book. I randomly started reading in book 5 because my parents bought it for me the time I told them to buy me any book.
I also liked the movies. They're great too, also the book.

I choose both. Both authors did a great job.
I guess, Its just me.

ive read all the hp book and i love them a lot, ive always watched the movies but i first read the books a few months ago... i dont like comparing twilight and hp togeather because they are both very different, i dont know why ppl love to compare the two togeather, but everyone has their opinion... and i dont really care who is "hotter" i actually like both of the stories and characters, not just the looks... i dont think that was a "airheaded" response...

Lolxx i have and to be honest i was obsessed with it may be i still am as i am anxiously waiting for HP and the deathly hallows movie. and i live Hp it is i think by far the best magical stories i have read and i love it and my fav book is HP and the order of phoenix it is just soooo good i really miss HP now coz of twilight and i myself am soo busy with HW and stuff i dnt have time to read it but i surely will and FYI i dont read HP so that i can bash on hp fans its flaws coz i read it for the fun of it the joy it brings with itself is magical lolxxx
