Why are Twilight Haters saying us Twilight Lovers can't write or spell properly ?

You raise a valid point, dear, but I think we are just making a generalization ... of the obsessive, slightly mentally unhinged girls who are masturbating over Edward's sparkliness. :D They just seem to get over-exicted when they type, and end up saying 'omg twilihgt iz da best, hp sux so just stfu.' Just the obsessive, crazy fans, mind you. People like you are cool. :D

I think there are two levels of 'Twilight lovers': The sane, open-minded ones like you (and a few others), and the crazy, narrow-minded bitchy ones (like almost everyone else on this spot). BEAR IN MIND: I didn't say every Twitard was like this, or was stupid, but honestly, how are we supposed to answer a question that reads:
'y is every1 so rood on twilight?' or whatever it was ... it's quite a few rabid fans on this spot, who seem unable to take no for an answer, or are unable to debate as to WHY Twilight is actually better than Harry Potter in their opinion. ;)

Because a lot of us can't, face it. Though I still think the majority of us are able to spell. You just have to check the Twilight spot. Most of the people there are spelling just right. Of course, there are exceptions. It's usually the obsessive, slightly crazy teenage fangirls whom can't spell. I still wish they would just stop saying that, because it's not completely true, and it makes us, normal fans, look bad.

It's not you , but some of Twihards are spelling quite wrong , and those are not just typos. Like 'jsut' is repeating here over and over again. "I sleep in class" is just not an excuse. And , some of us HP lovers just can't read some answers/comments . Either that , or they don't make any sense at all ("I'M NOT A GOAT !!1!! I'M A HUMAN BEAN !!!!1!").But not all Twihards spell wrong. Only crazy fangirls do , and sane Twilight fans are spelling just right.

I don't like Twilight, but I only think some people can't spell properly, or choose not to. I understand if you are from a different country like, say....Portugal or something, but I just don't like it when people shorten words on the computer, when they have a whole keyboard in front of them...you know what i'm saying? we're not blaming twilight, but I haven't seen a HP fan "tlk lyk dis." which is how a lot of the more ignorant twilighters type. It's not every twilight lover, but there are quite a few. Some of them don't ever make sense, it's quite weird, because you know they're saying something really obnoxious or shallow, but you don't exactly know what because they mix their sentances up. ;=/

Well, there are some Twihards who don't bother typing correctly, so that gets on my nerves. Of course, we shouldn't generalize and say all twilight fans have bad grammar/spelling.

Of course not all of them are like this. =) But you would have to be blind to not see the dumb fangirls who type like this.

I honestly don't know, but it does seriously get on my nerves when they start questions about it. Maybe if someone who started one of the questions to point it out will say why they want to offend every single fan of the book? Well, I don't know if every fan gets offended, but I sure do. Is it to feel superior to someone? Is it to make a point that even the fans of HP are better than the fans of Twilight? Maybe you all need an ego boost?

All of the questions need to be deleted as soon as someone makes them. All of the answers consist of either Antis saying, "LOL They speak like that because they're all 12 and immature" or Twilighters like me who want to rant about it (like I'm doing now...). I don't think they will ever get an answer to the questions from an actual Twihard who talks like that.

Even when they say "no offense" and "it's just to the ones who type like that," I get offended. I have to defend them, because they most likely won't jump into the question and answer themselves. They are fellow fans of something that I like. It's like a weird family, so when someone attacks a member of the family, everyone gets offended. It especially hurts when I am a fan of something that attacks something else that I am a fan of, like HP and Twilight.

Maybe a HP fan wouldn't say something like "Twilight fans are illiterate" if one of those grammarically incorrect comments/answers/questions wasn't insulting or rude.

Well there has been more than one occasion where a Twilight fan has posted a question, and its not that we all dont make spelling or grammer mistakes but, this was gibberish. You could barely tell what they wanted to say. Oh and I have read some of the first Twilight book and I could tell it is very simple reading in comparison to Harry Potter which has expanded my vocabulary since I started reading it twelve years ago.
