A Question for Twilight Fans & Twilight Haters: What was the worst, most disrespectful, or simply the weirdest statement you ever heard a fan/hater say (or type)?

I haven't heard anything disrespectful yet, but one time at school we were outside and one Twihard was wearing a bright white jacket and one said "Look! She's sparkling! She's a vampire!" and I corrected them and said "She's a Meyerpire" and they stopped and looked at me and said "What?" and I said "You know, Stephenie Meyer...her vampires...you get it?" They just looked at each other and said "No..." and I could've sworn they've read the books more than once.

Well, the weirdest thing that was ever said to me. I was in a book store and I had on a Twilight t-shirt, and I was looking at a new design for the Harry Potter books. Someone came up to me and told me, “you can‘t be a fan of both.” I just rolled my eyes, and walked away. I would have said something, but I hate confrontations.

A lot of things said to me or to other people in this spot offend me like no other.

- Someone told me that I "need time to mature" because I am over 12-14 and I like Twilight. (Seriously? That is probably one of the comments that hurt me the worst.)

- People who say that they feel sorry for people who like Twilight. (Why would anyone feel sorry for someone liking something? It's their opinion and their will to like it. It's not like anyone is being forced to like it.)

- People calling Kristen Stewart a "slut" because they simply do not like her. (And because they don't like Twilight, they think it is a good excuse to dislike someone who is in it.)

- The stereotypers. (The people who think that all Twilighters can't give strong arguments and type like idiots.)

- The hypocrites. (They think that they are the only ones who are allowed to have opinions and are allowed to question someone else's. If someone says something they disagree with or questions their opinion, they get bent out of shape about it.)

- The Twilight fans whose only reason for liking someone or something is that they love them or think that they are hot. (Come on. They are the ones that make all of the Twilighters look bad. I hate being a fan when people act like that.)

- The people that give "prapes." (My word for "hate props" or props that people give to call you bitch, or say that they hope you die because you like something that they don't.)

I saw a question on here that said 'Why do people like dumb harry potter to gorgeous edward cullen?' from - clearly - a Twihard's point of view. It was bizarre, offensive, and clearly, they hadn't read Harry Potter, otherwise they would not have said such a ridiculus comment. I found it remarkably funny, though, too.

Another incident was when I was at school, and was passing a Twihard at her locker. It was hard NOT to miss her locker - she had it sprawled open, and every inch of it was covered with a New Moon poster, and several hundred postcards (the same) that read 'I think I just Imprinted on you.'
I scoffed crudely, and she turned around and said, 'Okay, we know you hate Twilight and like Harry Potter, but it's practically the same so just shut up.' And I simply said, 'Have you even READ Harry Potter?' And she replied, 'No, but it's like the same anyway so whatever.'
I retorted back with a mere 'facepalm, honey', and she just stared at me in confusion. I feel my IQ drop whenever someone references Twilight like that.

yes there was a picture of of Edward in a classroom and words said "Edward killed Hedwig" first of all whoever made that was offensive. then someone commented "YES YES YES YES" that was horrible because I love Hedwig and the caps lock was being abused once again

one of the worst was when a twihard said people who don't like twilight aren't capable of reading/recognizing good literature and they only like to read barney books...I personally read a many different kinds of books so that comment offends me. I love classics such as Jane Austen's books and Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South, so I am fairly sure that I do read good literature. The part about barney books is just plain wierd since I have never even seen a barney book.

Another hilarious comment was when a twihard said that they were going to kill all twilight haters with their super powers they got from reading the series...I sincerely hope they don't honestly think they could gain powers from reading those books

"IF YOU HATE TWILIGHT THEN YOU SHOULD GO TO HELL!" - I don't want to say her name, because she respects me now, though she said that about everyone else.

"...ur just jealous..." -2010cathy. She said more then that, but this was the only part that caught my attention (and the only part I could actually understand).

"ur asshole bitch" - No name, because she changed after I sent her a very persuasive response, and she respects me now. The power of persuasion. xD

A few more, but I forgot them because I learned that if you ignore them, they will eventually get bored and leave you alone.

Well, 2 Twitards sent me a prop. One (from edwardlover99) said YOU SHOULD DIE!!!!!!!!!1 and the other (from footnoodles) said fck off. And 2010cathy also keeps telling us that we're jealous of Twilight when we're not. Also CullenProperty keeps starting fights and then telling us to stop fighting, geez.

No, actually. o.o It may seem like I WANT them after me or something, but I honestly and truly don't. I'm just analyzing things, trying to figure out how I escaped the rage of the Twihards. I bash on it pretty badly, and I can be a total bitch. And yet others on here just say something that the Twihards don't like (not even necessarily in an offensive manner), and they're freaked out upon. It's very odd to me. I'm happy as it is though! ^^,, *Waves hands crazily*

The stupidest thing I've ever heard of was that girl attempting to sue Universal Pictures because the movie The Wolf Man was a rip-off of New Moon. When I read the letter, I almost stabbed myself.

Probably it was when someone on this spot told me and a few other HP fans "GET A LIFE AND FUCK OFF BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!"

I can't really remember what site I was on, but I expressed my opinion on Edward, and this one crazy fangirl said something along the lines of

'Just go fuck yourself, no one likes you! Edward is way better than you'll ever be, and your just jealous of how cool Bella is, and that she gets him! I bet your parents hate you!!!'

Now the last part, and the no one likes you part hurt a lot, seeing as I don't have a Dad, and My mom actually does hate me.
