XD we decided this should be a childrens' story, so.... here it goes

once upon a time, fred weasley, who at the moment was without his twin(D'X), was with his sister ginny and harry potter, out searching for horcruxes

on their search, after finding their first horcrux, they stopped at a hotel to rest.

a MUGGLE hotel o.O

for ginny and fred, this was a new experience. however, ginny, being, well GINNY didn't decide to explore the place looking to bother muggles, like fred decided

when they first arrived, harry get them hotel rooms. however they were only able to get two rooms, so he and ginny decided that they would share a room

fred, having been lagging behind, most likely bothering some muggles or admiring some interesting contraption, caught up to them just as they had decided on the rooming arrangements

"WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT MY BABY SISTER SHARING A ROOM WITH A GUY? >8D " he exclaimed

Ginny: -Lets go of Harry and steps back- We only have 2 rooms.

Harry: You trust me, right? Besides, there's two twin beds in here. We'll keep the beds separate. Nothing to worry about.

Fred started laughing at them
"i thought as much. only joking
*elbows harry* but i scared you, didn't i? ;D"

releived, the two pointed off down the hall to show fred where his room was, and, despite wondering why his room was so far off, he left to go put his trunk away

after having done this, fred decided to explore the hotel. so he set off down the hall

"....hm...alot of things LOOK kind of similar...

*comes across a large metallic box thing that's making a humming noise*
O_o.....?
XD *runs up to it*

*looks it over, then starts pressing random buttons* :D???

*ice starts coming out of an opening in the front*
O_O
*picks some of it up*
ice....?

THIS IS MAGIC!!!!!!!!

*stares at the ice for a few seconds*
...i wonder how this thing makes the ice.....

*presses ear against the machine* hm.........

maybe a charm....O.O OR A DRAGON!!!

*takes out an extendable ear, puts it in my ear and then has the other end crawl it's way into the machinery*

=_=*waits*..............

*machine turns on* DX IT"S TOO LOUD!!!!!
*rips extendable ear out of my ear*

that's no dragon >.<
stupid muggle machine! "

fred kicked the machine and went off on his way, looking around for more things to do.

while walking around he talked to a few muggle children, messed with a few potted plants to see if they would do anything interesting, and fought the urge to use magic himself. since, for the record, he was fairly bored without his partner in crime

just imagine the looks on a muggle's face if he had apparated right in front of them!
however, BELEIVE IT OR NOT, he actually had better judgement

eventually, he came across another machine. it looked somewhat similar to the ice machine he had found earlier

" another muggle machine...?

-_^....i don't know if i should trust this thing....

...*shrugs*
*runs up to it*

i wonder what comes out of this one!
*puts hands under nozzle on machine and presses the button*

*coffee comes out of nozzle*
O.o..
DXXXXX *runs away*
BLOODY HELL!!!!!!! IT"S HOT!!!"

Fred quickly ran off, his hands burning from the boiling coffee.

"DX OWWWWWW

*runs back to ice machine and puts hands in the ice that piled up on the floor from before*

*starts walking around again*
>.< well THAT was interesting "

it wasn't long before fred found another "stupid muggle contraption"


"*comes across a big metal door in the hallway*
what's this...?

*looks around it* there aren't any openings for stuff to come out of....
probably a good thing

*presses a button on the wall next to it* what's this do?

*jumps when the elevator dings loudly* DX oh no!!
*runs to other side of hallway*

>8I *watches the door slide open*

.....*walks up to it*
*looks inside and then walks into it*
wicked...

*leans against the buttons in the elevator and the door closes*

DDDDDXXXXXXXXX
*bangs against door* "

Fred banged and pushed against the door, now trapped, nearly becoming disoriented when the thing gave him a strange sinking feeling

finally, the door slowly slid open

"*elevator dings again and the door opens slowly*

*nearly collapses out of elevator having been leaning against door*
*looks around* I"M SAVED!!!

*lays on floor for a bit, grinning before getting back up*

i should probably go back to my room before it gets too late

who knows what kind of weirdo muggles creep around here at night....

*walks down the hall towards where his room should be, but obviously isn't since it's a different floor -w-;;;*

*tries to open the door but it's locked*
...? i didn't lock it earlier
*pushes against door*

>.< stupid muggle things, never working

*picks the lock and opens the door*
:D there we go!!

*women screams from inside*

D8<< the hell?!!!
*shuts door quickly* "

fred obviously didn't realize that the elevator had taken him down two floors, away from ginny and harry. beleiving he was still in the same place for now, he kept looking for them

"DX where the hell am i??

*goes down the hall to where he thinks ginny and harry are, knocks on the door*
OI! you two!! you in there?!!

*annoyed, half asleep man opens the door, glaring at fred*
what do you want?

Fred: *looks over his shoulder indiscreetly to see if they're actually in there*
well, i was looking for my sister, but you're not NEARLY short,girly, or ginger enough to be her, sooooooo......NEVERMIND ^^ "

fred ran around the floor, now realizing he wasn't in the same place. he had no idea WHERE he was, but he knew where he wasn't. so that was good enough. thankfully, he figured out a way to get back when he found a fireplace in the hallway

"hm.....

*takes out some floo powder from a little bag in his pocket, grinning*

*steps into the fireplace, and just as he is about to use the floo powder, a muggle couple walks by and stops, staring at him*

Man: um, lad...you alright there? -_^;;;

Fred: yeah, why?

Man: well, you're in a fireplace...

Woman: oh dear.....

Fred: =_=....um....
:D just tidying up a bit!! lots of vampire bats in here, you know? *starts rubbing the sides of the fireplace like he's cleaning*

Couple: *stares*

Fred: well, run along!! D< before the bats eat you!!

*the man takes his wife's hand and pulls her away down the hall, completely weirded out*

Fred: finally
*drops the floo powder in*
HARRY AND GINNY"S HOTEL ROOM >:D "

a green flame emerged from the fireplace and engulfed him, transporting him to harry and ginny's room.

in their room, he rolled out onto the floor from the fireplace, waking up harry from a nightmare about voldemort

fred, having gotten back, was now done for now with his adventure in the hotel. it was now time to get back to work hunting horcruxes.

his adventure would have to continue later
