Here is my plot idea for the fifth film in the Halloweentown series.
Halloweentown: To the Witch Power
Every time Marnie Piper has always save Halloweentown from dark forces, but now she's the one that needs to be saved and the only one that can save her is...her baby sister, Sophie.
Setting four years after the fourth one, Marnie haven't contact her family in two years, her mother Gwen gets worried, but Aggie, her grandmother, knows Marnie is alright. Gwen starts questioning her desicion to let Marnie stay in Halloweentown and seeks Dylan to find her. However, they get a surprise when their old nemesis, Kal, returns and gives the Cromwell family a gift...Marnie trapped somewhere in Halloweentown and is under a forbidden spell, the Hypnos spell, only a powerful being can cast it.
Aggie senses more danger when Kal is back full strength. Seeing she has powerful magic left, Aggie tries to find and save Marnie. Gwen and Dylan tries to find other ways to find Marnie in time, but to soon learn more about the Hypnos spell when it is revealed that whoever is cast by it will sleep forever and will never wake up unless another powerful being reverse it. Seeing it took one powerful being to cast it, they feel that Aggie got in the bag, but soon Kal has set things already in motion for the Cromwells; he soon cast another forbidden spell that strips Aggie from her magic and puts her in Halloweentown prison for treason.
Seeing all hope is lost, Gwen realizes one other person that can save Marnie and free Aggie is Sophie. However, Sophie may have trained being a powerful witch, she is being a teenager ignoring what is going on with the family. As her teenage life gets interesting with a new boy, Jessie, in her life and a new rival, Carly, Sophie doesn't want anything to intrude on her plans. Soon she realizes the threat Kal has put on her family and realizing she is no ordinary witch that she holds more power than anyone realize, she is the true savior to reverse the spell on Marnie, free Grams, and stop Kal from destroying Halloweentown. In attempt to do that, she must go back to Halloweentown and form a new group of ceatures to help fend off aganist Kal and his minions.
It's one battle that has Halloweentown up in the air, and the Mortal world in serious danger; as her family magic is threatened and her sister in harm's way, Sophie is the only Cromwell that can undo all of the damagae Kal has caused and reunite her family together to save Halloweentown one last time.
