But, there will be different characters. I think the only person that will be staying is Rikki (Cariba) but I'm not 100% sure.
But I can assure you, there will be a new season. Probably sometime next year (2015).
My cousins name is Cory, and he's doing a course in Melbourne (acting/directing) and he got asked to play an important part in Season 4 of h20.
But, that's if they don't cancel it. So let's not give our hope up!

In season 3, they graduated so it's going to be unlikely they'll stay together as a group for a season 4

But The Spin Off Is Filmed In The Same Place As H2O Was Filmed so If They Were Doing Either.. They Would Have To Wait Until Filming For The Spin Off Is done. As of yet there is no renewal. However I do believe they should bring it back. "Mako mermaids", the show that came after, based on "H2O just add water" is kind of a joke. I feel the original is much better and in general has a better story line. "H2O just add water" ended poorly. Emma needs to return and there are some questions about Cleo and Louis' relationship. Also what are the girls going to do now that mako has no magic? Rikki said she will be hanging out there but why? There needs to be another season to rap up the questions.

Her name is ms.chadwick. if you remeber rikki's last name is chadwick. it is the same actress too. at the end of the episode rikki basically says she needs to "catch up with some old friends" after she sees wai land, ondina , and mimmi joking around like her emma and cleo used too. i think it might pick up as them as adults

I was exemely disappointed in the ending of Season 3. My faves were Zane & Rikki. The other couples were happy while they just stood there smiling inanely into a void. I wrote my own ending, which started with Zane's suicide attempt which yielded a very interesting domino effect.in their lives and the lives of others. Many unexpected back stories emerged as the two dads (Rikki's and Zane's) became friends and the real truth about Zane's mom emerges. I would have bought the series but that dismal ending would always lurk in my mind. Instead l gave them an ending that l deemed fitting for a Romeo and Juliet who lived to tell their tale.
