What exactly... is the point?

i see people all over the internet talking about how The Killers are better than Green Day or Green day is Better then The killers. it's usually on an article about one of the bands or a poll or a youtube video.. it's everywhere and i see people like to talk about it all the time. I think there should be a place (neutral territory) where they can discuss the issue and hopefully make strong points about why the think one is better than the other. hopefully put aside their differences and learn to accept that the other band exists and learn not to attack every time they see something not belonging to their fav. group.
