He very well could be the author. In the episode "Into the Bunker" towards the end Soos had a laptop that said "Property of F" on it. Well, Old Man MucGucket's full name, as revealed at the end of "Little Dipper" is Fiddleferd H. McGucket. Also, it's obvious the author of the journal has or had six fingers on one of his hands, and Old Man McGucket is always seen walking around with a cast on his arm, so that could very well be because he lost one of his fingers.

I do think it's possible and I do like the theories behind it too. :)

For those of you who said "no" I'd like to hear your input as to why you believe Old Man McGucket's not the author of the journals, and who you believe is the potential author.

I did until episode 7.

I didn't think it was him. and in the recent episode SPOILER when they said within the first minute of the show that it was him just proved that it wasn't him. because there is still the rest of the episode to go through and something is going to happen proving that he isn't the author

No it was Toby think about it he's the least suspicious character and, in one of the episodes, has a hole in his shoe. Just like the wax statues. The photo/video of old man mcgucket was prob photoshop. The blood could be for any reason.
