I'm sorry, but what am I missing?? Chuck and Blair were NOT a couple during S2!!

2x01 started with things already being "over" between them, and it took literally until the final like 2 minutes of 2x23 for them to both say "ILY".

I'm not trying to get in to an argument but it just doesn't seem fair that they are included.

xoheartinohioxo, true, CB were never an actual couple, but it's hard to argue that they weren't the main "relationship" of season 2.
Also, they became a couple in the last minute of s2. Lol.

^^ I get that, but then it can be argued that Nate & Serena should be included in the S1 pick. They may not have been in an actual relationship, but there was most definitely that... vibe between them during the first few episodes.

And I know we were disagreeing about CB on my "more annoying" pick but I just want to say that this kind of goes to show what I'm talking about =/

Chuck & Blair WEREN'T a couple in Season 1 OR Season 2. Yes, they had a SEXUAL relationship, but they didn't actually become boyfriend girlfriend until S3 if you get technical.

The question does ask - Best COUPLE, not best "relationship" or pairing... That's all I'm getting at, that CB really don't belong on a list of couples for a season they weren't dating.

^^ you are right.. they weren't a couple! but in somehow i feel like it dosn't really matter to people becauser everyone just LOVE them and i know that it's not everyone but it feels like that sometimes?!

They may have technically not been a couple but they were definitely the couple which SL was explored throughout the season.
