I always just liked that he was there for Serena and could cheer her up and give her good advice no matter what. I was kinda bummed that the show did it the other way around.

That's a tough choice but Tv Eric seems much nicer.

The book Eric was great, but he didn't have enough storylines. The tv show gave him a lot of wists and turns.

I have never read the book, so kinda an easy choice.

I love TV Eric! He was okay in the book too, but I didn't care about him then. ^^

I totally agree with waldorf, I love him on the show and he wasn't that big of a character to really care about in the books.

The book Eric sounds really hot though.

i liked in the books when he got with blair and it was really sweet when he was like your ready but not with me i was like awwwwww

but yeh in the show he has better storeylines etc

Yeah I plan on reading them, but I haven't so...

erik is hot in the book and he almost sleeps with blair which forces nate and blair together - love it

I dont think she really gave much attention to eric in the books so i guess i didnt have time to like him much. Love tv Eric though. :)
