Part 2

She was in the bathroom sweating out the fact that her and Nate are...dating? She didnt remember this happening. She remembered dancing with Chuck a hundred times and Nate sitting down and not drinking or talking.
Wow. Wasnt he the life of the party! she thought sarcastically.
All of a sudden she heard a knock on the door.
"Blair?" Nate said.
"Um. Yeah Nate?" she said awkwardly.
"Are you okay? I just wanted to check on you." he said caringly.
"Yep. Perfect." she said brushing her teeth with the toothbrush she leaves at Serena's house.
"Um. Okay then. Come see me when your ready. I'm going home." he said blankly.
"Okay. Is Serena still here?" she asked.
"Nope she left. It's noon Blair. Everyone else woke up early." he said. Blair felt so embarassed! Not only did she have a killer hangover but everyone else was fine?
"Alright then. Bye Nate." she said through the door.
"Bye, Babe." he said. She heard his footsteps.
Great. Now I am stuck in this house until 2. That's when I told my mom I'd be back. Ehh. Mine as well watch a movie. she thought.
Forgetting another presence in the room next door, she walked out of the bathroom and into the living room. As she was going through Serena's movies, she heard footsteps. "Hello?" she said absentmindetdly. "Hello, Lover." Chuck's smooth voice said. "Oh God! Not you too!" she said. "How many guys am I going out with?" she said sitting on the couch with her head in her hands. "Oh dont worry. Nothing happened. Only dirty dancing." he said chuckling. She looked at him and smiled.
"What are you still doing here?" she said. "Well, I have no where better to be." he said. "Well then, if you dont mind, turn off the lights, please." Blair said. "Why? Getting ideas?" he said doing as she asked. "Haha, Bass. No actually I am going to watch a movie. Just like you said, I have no where better to be." she said making herself comfortable.
He sat down next to her on the couch. She was surprised. She thought he would bolt at the sign of an actual movie. "What movie?" he said. "Um. I havent decided yet. Either Pan's Labyrinth or Volver." she replied flipping both DVD's over and over. "Which one havent you seen?" he asked. "Volver. But Pan's Labyrinth was so good. Oh I know. You pick!" she said pushing them at him. "Since you're probably leaving soon." she added. "Volver. It's more new and exciting. You already know what happens in the other one. And for your information, I think I might stay." he said smiling. "You, Chuck Bass, are going to sit down and watch a movie? OH. MY. GOD!" she said overdramatically as she put in Volver. "I happen to love movies. Especially old ones. There more-" she cut him off. "Realistic." she said. "Yeah. More realistic." They both smiled.
Fifteen minutes later they had a huge bucket of popcorn, no butter, they both hated buttered popcorn. They actually had a lot in common. The whole movie thing, the popcorn, they even hated sharing blankets. They each had their own.
It was just five minutes into the movie where Chuck had the erge to kiss her. But he fought it for another hour. He was actually enjoying himself. They were both the kind of people that talked so much during the movie that it was like not watching the movie. They discussed alot about it.
"No, that's just dumb. Why would they risk like everything to go to a town with a bunch of crazy people hallucinating about their dead mother?" Blair argued. "Well dont you know, Waldorf? Crazy people usually arent crazy. They actually do see stuff." he battled. "Seriously? Come on now Chuck! You dont seriously believe that?" she said. "Actually I do, Blair. It's just a matter of who did it and why." he said. That confused her. "Wait. I dont get it. Who did what and why?" she said. They were really close together. She was kind of leaning on him in a way. He had his arm around her but instead of resting on her shoulder, his hand was on the couch. That's not what she wanted. "Who did it. Why." was all he said.
"Your one complicated guy, Bass. Never thought that would come out of my mouth." she said. Another half hour went by and the movie was almost over. They had had so many discussions. She was really getting to know the real Chuck.
When the movie ended, Blair got up and bent over to retrieve the DVD. "Now if that was the movie, it would have been better." he said naughtily. Preferring to her butt. "Shut up, Chuck." she said smiling. She sat back on the couch. "What are you doing now?" he said. "Nothing. Just watching Pan's Labyrinth. I cant just go home now. My mom would flip. Its only 1:30. I said 2. I have to be specific. But if I'm late thats fine. As long as Im not early." She explained. He nodded. "Same thing with Bart. But he would prefer me to be as late as can be." he said, with a weird look in his eyes. "You hate him?" she asked gently. "No. I despise him. I couldnt hate him." he said the look disappearing and being replaced into a smile.
"What?" she said. "Nothing." his smiling growing bigger. She got up a little bit. "No. What? I hate when you do that!" she said sighing. "What? I cant just be happy?" he asked. "No. Chuck Bass is never happy. Well when you are its when...you get the point." she said sitting back down. She was kind of on his lap because she had to "rest her feat". That was such a lie and both of them new it. He laughed out loud at what she said. "Shhhhh. Its starting." she said. He smiled again. How could he be so happy, just by sitting and watching a movie?
The same thing happened in this movie too. They discussed a bunch of stuff about it and laughed and Blair almost cried once because there was a really sad part in the movie. Chuck was so happy she didnt cry. He wouldnt have known what to do. The time had went by so quickly. Chuck was actually having fun without having sex. He was proud of himself. All of a sudden they heard an elevator ding and their tall blonde best friend came out of the doors.
"Um? Chuck. Blair. What are you guys doing?" she asked suspiciously, coming over to where they were sitting. Blair moved away from him a little bit, but they were still touching. "Nothing, S. Just hanging out, watching a movie. Where were you?" she said quickly changing the subject. "Mmhm. I was shopping. I would have asked you to go with me but you were knocked out." Serena said with a smile. "Movies done." Chuck said. "Oh Dammit! Serena! See what you did! I missed the ending!" Blair said teasingly. Serena pouted and went to the kitchen. "Id better get going. The movies were great, Blair." he said smiling. She knew what he meant. "Yeah, I had a great time too Chuck." she smiled. "You know me too well." was all he said as he walked out the door.
Blair floated into the kitchen. She felt so light, so happy. "Hey, S." she said. "Blair Waldorf! What were you and the Bad Ass Bass doing?" she almost yelled. "Calm down. We were just watching a movie. I couldnt go home and he had nowhere to go. So we watched a couple movies. What's the big deal? Your acting like my mother!" she said forcefully, the words would come out easily for some reason. Serena laughed, and Blair finally joined in. "You like him?" Serena said after the giggles stopped. "I dont know. I guess Im dating Nate now. Which is totally weird. But okay." she said. "Hey tonight come over. Because I gotta go. Call me." Blair said hugging the blonde. "Yeah, yeah." Serena said with a smile. Blair left to her penthouse.
"Where have you been? You said 2 its almost 4." Eleanor said, Blair could tell she actually didnt care she was just trying to act like she cared. She was looking over new sketches for her clothing line. She didnt even look at Blair. "Shopping with Serena, sorry Mother." Blair said going up to her room. "Yes Dear." was all Eleanor said. Blair went up to her room and sat on her bed and stared at the ceiling. Her phone rang. "Hello?" she said sounding depressed she didnt even look at the caller id. "Hey, babe! I havent heard from you. Are you alright?" he said. She had to tell him the truth. She just had to. There was no other option. "Nate. No I'm not alright. Im sorry but I dont remember anything that happened last night. I have no clue what you were talking about. I only knew some of the story because Chuck filled me in. Im sorry Nate. I shouldnt have led you on like that." she said. "So wait, you dont like me?" he said.
SHIT! Wrong choice of words. Do I like him? she thought.
"Oh Nate! I dont know. Im confused. I dont think I should have a boyfriend right now. But I like you, I do." she said. "Blair." he chuckled. "It sucks this time." he said. She had no clue what he was talking about. "Wha-" she meant to say what are you talking about but he cut her off. "You said something like that last night when I asked you. But it sucks this time because I cant kiss you. When you said that last night I just kissed you and it worked perfectly, now I dont know how to convince you of your feelings." he said. "Oh. Wait Nathaniel Archibald are you trying to tell me how I feel?" she said with rising anger, she hates when people do that. "Oh no, no. I just know you like me. Even if you dont know." he explained. "Your telling me how I feel." she said. "No, Blair! Listen, tonight lets all do something again. Not as crazy, but something still fun. Okay? Please?" he said. She gripped the receiver. She was still recovering from last night anyways. "Sounds good. I'll call Serena. You call Chuck. Its a date." she said hanging up.
Blair got dressed in pants, which she rarely wore. She was actually wearing dark jeans with a loose black top and a silver clutch. The heels were too tight but she wouldnt let that stop her.
Serena was wearing a plain white dress to her knees and a gold purse, as of which the strap rested on her shoulder.
Chuck pulled on a button down blue shirt and a gray vest and gray paints to match. He felt like watching another movie with Blair. He loved talking to her. She was so much like him, it intrigued him. He knew they were both evil scheming powerful leaders but he didnt know about the little things they had in common. He liked her, farther then her looks. He liked her personality. Which he never took the time to get to know any of the girls he slept with. But she was hands off. Labeled: Nate's Girl. Which bugged the hell out of him.
Nate wore something so plain and boring he had the erge to go change, but he didnt. He wasnt taking any risks. As he heard the Bass Limo pull up out side and beep he took one last look in the mirror and walked out the door.
But what they didnt know, was that night ahead of them, would be full of so much confusion and drama it could barely be fun.
