He is our father, but he's a trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Son who came to earth was obviously a male, but the Godhead is viewed as our Father figure to simply denote his position over the universe. He's not necessarily a male though. Hope that makes some sense :P

God is not a human, so he has no gender.

Can't really say. Well, whether He's human or not, I've always pictured Him as at least in the shape of a human. I have ever since I was a little kid. I picture the Holy Spirit as non-human obviously, but... I don't really know what to say on this one. However, if I had to choose, I would lean more on the male side since we know Him as the Father of the world, not the mother.

Well, if God Himself says He's neither then He must be.

But you think, our lord, the Holy Father (God) created all living and non-living things. He sees all and is all. He created the mountains, the seas, the planets and the stars. He created the animals and us. Were it not for the Holy Father, we would not be.

Our Lord; Jesus Christ, came from the womb of Mary as a boy.

I also say this because since God is a spirit and doesn't have a body or reproductive organs, he can't be a boy or a girl.
