It was just so funny the way he believed it and didn't even question it. But that's Finn for you, and i wouldn't love him any other way :)

They live in a small town so I can believe that they weren't given enough sex. ed or he didn't pay attention.
I think he is just so niave that he believed that Quinn loved him enough not to cheat, so there would have been no other possible way for her to be impregnated.
Very dumb, but... I don't know I feel like I have to defend him. :/

He's not the dumbest character ever, but bless his heart he's not the quickest bunny in the hutch either.

I am a total Rachel and Finn shipper, but part of me is curious to see what kind of children Finn and Brittany would have :-D

Well, I thought his ignorance was perhaps supposed to be a commentary on the 'abstinence only' sex ed some people get, and how it's not really working. Withholding info from teens about the biology and necessary precautions for safe sex only leads to trouble and accidents in my opinion, and I figured Quinn's pregnancy and Finn's ignorance were aimed at that. They were both members of the celibacy club, right? So I think it was ridiculous for the character, but not ridiculous for the show, because Glee's always used exaggerated stereotypes to get their points across, and Finn's dopey belief is an exaggerated but not entirely unrealistic result of not getting good sex ed.
