I think Quinn definitely made the right choice. Puck may have wanted the baby, but there's no way he understood exactly what it means to have and care for a newborn, much less how to raise a child. And he and Quinn are just teenagers. They're just not ready, financially, emotionally, and mentally, to have a kid yet.
Shelby, on the other hand, is in the right place in her life to have and raise the baby. She's mature, financially secure, and above all has a place in her heart for a child. Quinn knows all this and I think that's why she chose to give her baby to Shelby. I definitely think Quinn made the right choice.
I think it's better that she didn't so she can have a normal life now and it's probably best for the baby, too. I think that Rachel's mom is a good person and she really wanted a baby and will love her. I think it was the right choice for everyone :)
I think she should have. Her mother was finally on board with the whole pregancy or should I say birth. She offered to turn the guest room into a nursery.
Puck really wanted to keep Beth. He wanted a chance to be a father. I think Quinn should have let him get that chance.
I think it is horrible that Shelby adopted Beth. She missed her chance with Rachel so now she just adopts a baby girl from a girl Rachel knows? I think that is messed up. But I guys it will make season 2 more interesting. I hope they have an open adoption so Puck can still be the father he wants to be.
She did what's best for everybody... She has to move on with her own life, grow up, find out who she is & where she belongs. Then she'll be ready to raise a child.
Puck seemed to be opened for a baby for a short moment, but I think he was just moved by the birth & the wonder of giving life. Quinn knew that when days pass he'll see a hot girl & he'll follow her living his feelings from hospital behind, so she could not make a decision based on one short-term emotion. She definately took everything into concederation & made what she should do.
And Shelby? She'll be a great mom. mature, responsible, caring. She wants a child so much! I loved how she respected Quinn giving the girl name Beth. I'm sure she'll be way better mother for Beth now then she could have been for Rachel 16 years ago.
I think she made the right choice but it really seemed that Puck wanted to keep her, not just on this ep but he told her in previous episodes about keeping their daughter... And the way he looked at his baby made my heart melt...
I think she should give it away cause she obviously does not want to keep it and she doesn't look like she is ready to get to responsible with taking care of a child yet. I also think that she did give it to the right person because I am sure that Rachel's mother would like to start a new fresh life and hopefully she won't make the same mistake like she did with Rachel.
