Japanese GQ analyzes the reasons behind the SNSD craze

Popular Japanese men’s magazine, ‘GQ Japan‘ will publish a SNSD special in their July issue which will hit newsstands on the 24th. The special issue analyzes the factors to SNSD’s success in the music industry.

According to a report from the ‘Japanese Oricon’ on the 23rd, ‘GQ Japan’ will also present the thorough nurturing program of SM Entertainment. Through an interview with SNSD, the magazine reported that the trainees go through rigorous daily training sessions which can last to upwards of 10 hours a day and usually takes 5 to 8 years to debut.

Girls’ Generation TaeTiSeo Celebrates Christmas with ‘Dear Santa’

Girls' Generation subunit TaeTiSeo or TTS for short recently released a winter mini-album with the banner "Dear Santa" on December 4th of this year.

Immediately upon release, "Dear Santa" topped on both domestic and international charts including iTunes where the album sang at the first place in nine countries including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Macau, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

Sunny is a member that was one of my favourites when I first see Run Devil Run last summer. She caught my eyes and although she is 7 in my bias list I keep paying attention and I'm really dissapointed.

So Sunny is one of the lead vocalist of SNSD, she has the technique although I don't like her voice so much, less when she does aegyo sing. I like her voice when it's recorded and live, I think that she is one of the best live singers (don't kill me).

Hyoyeon's Top 5 Singing Lines

Usually, Hyoyeon barely gets any lines, seen in their new Japanese single, Indestructible. A lot of people, fans and antis, always claim that Hyoyeon's voice is really bad and should just stick to dancing. (This is not referring to anyone on here; I see it a lot outside of Fanpop.) Usually they only base it on the lines that she actually does get, which usually don't sound too great (Ex: Mr. Taxi) or on the fact that she doesn't get any lines at all.

Which car is most popular among the Girls’ Generation members?

Fans who’ve been wondering what the Girls’ Generation members drive are in luck.

According to a business insider, the choice of vehicle for at least a third of Girls’ Generation is the BMW Mini. Three to four members, including Hyoyeon, have been revealed to drive the model.

As for the other members, Jessica has been spotted in a BMW 320i, YoonA owns a Volkswagen Scirocco, Taeyeon drives a Mercedes-Benz SLK, while Yuri has a BMW Z4.

In related news, Jessica and Hyoyeon are currently promoting Hyundai.

SNSD is going to release their Japanese version of Run Devil Run on January 25th

SNSD will be returning to the Japanese market with their ‘Black Soshi’ concept through the release of their Japanese version digital single of “Run Devil Run.”

“Run Devil Run” is a track off of their repackaged second album and has been nicknamed the ‘Black Soshi’ concept for their sexy dark charms. Japanese mobile sites will be distributing the digital ring tone of “Run Devil Run” on January 18th, and the full version will be released through music sites on January 25th.

The girls will also be participating in the “SM TOWN LIVE in TOKYO” held at Tokyo’s Yoyogi on January 25th and 26th.
