Why do you think Ginny deserves Harry more than Cho?

I believe Ginny deserves Harry more because she was a very powerful witch in all herself. She was athletic, witty, and attractive. Ginevra always loved Harry...but he only saw her as his best friend's kid sister. However, that never diminished her feelings for him. Meanwhile, Cho was still in love with Cedric...and felt very guilty for kissing Harry. I don't think she ever liked him in a bf/gf way. I won't say Cho was weak-willed or anything. Ginny would be the obvious choice because Harry's lifestyle was wreckless and dangerous. And she was strong enough to deal with it. Let's not forget she dealt with a tragedy in her family, just as Harry did. She was targeted by Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters. She could relate to him in more ways than Cho could. She dealt with more life threatening things than Cho.

Bcoz gin doesnt cry at evry stupid thing..has helped harry..is beatiful..dangerous..does NOT act like a human hosepipe..is brave and different

She deserves Harry more because she's strong, unlike Cho. She is literally perfect for Harry. She is tough enough for him and to be able to handle him and makes him incredibly happy. She's also very athletic with both liking Quidditch and she's also very smart and witty.

(And on a bitchy note, Cho's an ass)

think about it cho only kissed harry because HE liked her not because she liked him and she was going through a lot at the time she wanted to have a moment of peace and harry gave it to her.
but ginny makes the move...in... well... the movie and ginny was harry's best friends sister and she also liked him.......


and so on he loves her she loves him true love :)

Personally I dont i like Cho more than ginny The rest of you guys seem to point at cho's emotional state but what did u expect her boy friend had just died the privious year and i think JKR just wrote it like that to make sure that she can end the relationship quikly. Wen it comes to ginny I think people like her beacuase of the weasley thing, I dont hate i actually do like her, but i just wanted cho for harry

I think that Ginny deserves Harry more than Cho because with Harry all Cho wanted to talk about was Cedric. I don't think it was fair that Cho wanted Harry to talk about something he really didn't want to talk about.

And he just thought Ginny was a better choice.

I wouldn't say that Ginny "deserves" Harry more than Cho does. It's more like the relationship with Ginny made more sense. The relationship with Cho was no good for either Harry or Cho, just because of the timing.

Ginny is a smart and brave witch...she's attractive too...cho was pretty and maybe witty too as she was in ravenclaw...both have good points in them...but ginny loved harry since she first saw him...she was do damn crazy about him though he never seemed to notice her...she really did care for him and was ready to follow him anywhere he'd go...she stood up for him too...cho liked him but she liked cedric better than him...cho liking harry is nth compared to ginny loving harry

so...in my opinion, ginny's love for harry is the prime reason she should be with harry

I don't think that Ginny "deserves" Harry more than Cho. I don't like statements which imply that one partner might not deserve the other, and I think it only applies in cases which involve abuse, continual cheating or other destructive treatment.

Both girls are described as pretty, confident and athletic. I think that possibly Harry/Cho could have worked out in an AU where they'd ended up dating after she and Cedric broke up, rather than after his murder. She tried to move on much too quickly, while she was still mourning Cedric, and Harry had absolutely no idea how to deal with that.

The only way I think that Ginny might be more suited to Harry than Cho is that Harry knew Ginny better before they began dating. He was friends with Ron and had spent a lot of time with the entire family. In contrast, all he really knew about Cho was that she played Quidditch and that he had a crush on her.
