Background:

Ghoulia Yelps is 16 years old in monster years and is the daughter of the zombies. Ghoulia is the only main monster who doesn't speak English, or, not really many understand her. Which, is ironic due to that she is the smartest monster in the school. Ghoulia also seems to be the only monster who isn't really connected to her parents.

Ghoulia's smarts seemed to be used against her at times when Cleo asks her to do her homework, or projects and gets the credit instead of Ghoulia.

Like all the characters, Ghoulia is introduced in the episode "New Ghoul @ School" where she is seen following and helping Cleo around.

Ghoulia is a quiet girl, that tries her best to get noticed and helps out anyone who is nice to her.

Ghoulia is "Best Ghoul Friends" with Cleo De Nile and seems to be having a small relationship with another zombie named Slo Moe.

Her favorite color is red, and she has a pet owl named Sir Hoots A lot.

Ghoulia has long, light blue hair and palish blue skin. She has blue eyes, and wears dark red lipstick. She wears a black, red and white striped off-the-shoulder shirt under a white camisole with a cherry pattern and red trim. She has fishnet arm warmers. She has a black and white piano belt with a square Monster High symbol belt buckle, which she wears with red strappy shorts and Converse-style knee-high heel boots. She wears white horn-rimmed glasses, pink zipper earrings and a green headband.

Party Outfit:

Like most of the girls, they all get changed for the schools annual dance party. Ghoulia's hair is now wavy, and she wears a flowy white sleeveless "dip-dye" dress with a red-pink gradient at its hem, belted at the waist with a Monster High symbol belt. Her peep-toe heels are black and red, with the heel made of a bone. She wears red horn-rimmed glasses and red earrings, with a small necklace.

Interests & Dislikes

According to the website, Ghoulia's favorite activity is reading and learning new things. Her favorite food is any kind of fast food, and she loves all the subjects at her school.

Ghoulia hates when she has to explain to a monster teacher why she is later to class, and they can't understand her. She also hates last minute schedule changes, because it ruins her plans.
