Welcome to the third and final installment of “Sexism and Season 6,” the essay series seeking to counter the distressingly abundant claim that Game of Thrones overcame the charges of sexism previously levied at it and delivered a feminist season.
It was an eventful season: we had a wedding, and a battle, and A Man! Plots began and ended depending on how good the characters were to expose themselves or to fool the audience, so much so that I had to honor some of them.
We must hope for the unexpected. With stunning developments come abrupt and unanticipated outcomes, sometimes at the expense of the characters we adore.
