None of these. I never thought he was boring, but then I didn't love *every* second of his screen time either. Sometimes he was just kinda there, I agree. But he also did important and interesting stuff. I would've picked a middle-ground option, had there been one.

I don't see how the third option makes sense as his journey towards the Three-Eyed Raven started in 1x02, so we would have to like him for just the first episode?

I just kept waiting for all his stuff to matter. In the end, only bits and pieces of his story mattered. They just kept making him weirder, but it never paid off.

A massive amount of unnecessary build up for a little to no action. He was just there for the sake of the plot.

I liked him quite a lot in Season 1, 2, 3 and 6.

But I honestly expected him to be kinda cool when he became the Three Eyed Raven, instead he just became the lamest flat character to ever exist lol, even though I liked him more in 8x06

^I share your opinion exactly. He suddenly became pretty unbearable to watch in S7. In S8, he might've been even worse.

So underrated. It's not his fault d&d are dudebros who were bored with the magical arc.

Also, Deadpan Troll Bran was the funniest thing to come from got.

I didn't hate Bran, but no way in Hell should he have become the king. There was a legitimate king, and he was banished like he was nothing!
