I still think Sansa and Daenerys are gonna have to go at it before all is said and done. What. About. The North. The Theon/Sansa thing took me by surprise but I ain't mad about it. If either of them can find a smidge of happiness anywhere, they deserve to take it. Please, old gods and new, let him come out of the godswood alive next week.

I enjoyed the Raise Your Glass High For Tomorrow We Die party. The tension between Tormund and Brienne and Jaime was hilarious. Just what I needed before I get ripped apart next week. And Brienne is a Knight now! *heart eyes*

I was expecting Daenerys to start stabbin' when she found out who Jon really was. Now we get to wait 2 weeks 'til the battle's over for her to start plotting against him. Nothing ruins a good romance like learning that you're related and he's more righteous than you. XD

So like... where the hell is Melisandre? Winterfell could use a priestess about now, y'know...

I doubt Jon will claim the Throne because he isn’t interested in it. But, well, it will certainly be interesting to see how both of them deal with the issue. I have a feeling one of them will die in the battle.

Can't wait for the next episode though. Also, what's your reaction on Jaime and Bran convo?

I don't think Jon will attempt to claim the throne either. But that won't matter to Daenerys, who probably already sees him as competition. Now he has a legitimate claim to the stupid throne she so desperately wants. Ruh-roh.

I thought the Jaime/Bran confrontation was a little underwhelming.

I rewatched and wanted to point out how shippy this whole episode was. The Arya/Gendry scene somehow got more awkward the second time around. The Jaime/Brienne scene in the field felt weird. Brienne/Tormund has been teased before and is always amusing to me, so that wasn't new. But Sansa/Theon came out of freakin' nowhere. Jon/Daenerys continues to be cringe-y, but now with a side of maybe-murder-y. Is next week's death toll going to be so bad that they've felt the need to force in all this last minute relationship stuff as like a pre-emptive apology because that's what they think fans want? >.>

So true. Agree with everything you said. Espeically, Theon / Sansa was completely unnecessary and irrelevant! Not enough build up for this. Also, ever since they surpassed main book and started branching off with their own story, things started to become more fanservice-y. And it seems like they don't even know why we love the show. This show kills anyone at anytime and is really dark with little to no fan service. At least, it used to be. Now, It's just flooded with unwanted fan-service which is turning out to be extremely cringy. It’s true that some nice moments before the blood bath is necessary but not like this. It seems way too rushed and awkward.

So many good things happened! Which means so many bad things are going to happen! AAAAAAHHHH!

Loved absolutely everything, except THAT Arya and Gendry scene. Loved the scene where she freaks him out the with knife-y things. They should have left it at that.

Have to admit, I have a really bad flu at the moment, so my brain function is low... I didn't see anything that suggested Sansa and Theon were being set up as a ship... I just thought they were emotional because of what they went through with ol' Dog Food... did I miss something? To be honest, I didn't interpret the episode as shippy so much as reminding us of the complexities of some these relationships (not necessarily romantic or sexual) and families (not necessarily blood relations) before they inevitably slaughter most of them in the upcoming episodes.

I'm notoriously bad about picking up on shippy things, but that's the vibe I got from Theon and Sansa. (I don't hate it either way, but it kinda just came outta nowhere.) I felt it with Brienne and Jaime too, and I've always thought that was mostly a fan thing rather than a real show thing. #GiantsbaneAndTheBigWoman4eva

I pretty much loved everything. It's the "Enjoy the little moments before we murder everyone" episode. Bittersweet feelings.

^I agree with Dasm about the whole Theon and Sansa scenes, well it was mostly in that last scene when they were eating together. It's really the way they looked and smiled at each other, it felt more than friend/family love in that moment.

Also Jaime and Brienne, which I also agree, was always mostly a fan thing, but in this episode it seemed intentional on the writers part to be shippy.

I think I like the Dany/Jon dynamic way more now that she knows he's a "threat" to her throne and murder might happen. Now *that's* interesting. I never was a fan of that ship, even more since we know they are related. It's really cringy.

I thing my favorite scene was the whole "Let's have a drink before we all die" scene with the Lannisters, Brienne and company. Especially the part where Jaime knighted Brienne. I cried a lot I'm so proud of her *heart eyes*

I loved and hated when Theon said he wanted to go with Bran, because I'm so proud, but then he might die doing so and that's gonna be hard.

I was so excited for that Jaime and Bran conversation and was kinda disappointed, which sucks.

For the first two episodes, I've been crying almost all the time, because I just know they're giving us some cute scenes and reunions and all just to kill half of those characters and I have a hard time dealing with that XD This show will be the death of me.
