I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Interview with Ramin Djawadi | Watchers on the Wall | A Game of Thrones Community for Breaking News, Casting, and Commentary
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Episode 344 – Interview with Ramin Djawadi
The podcast sits down with Ramin Djawadi, legendary composer and the man behind the epic music of
Thanks to Ramin Djawadi for the insightful, fun, and thoughtful conversation. Listen for an incredible look into the process of creating music for
His passion and love for the work is undeniable. It was an honor to have him on the show, thank you for submitting questions and spreading love for this Season’s soundtrack.
Please enjoy the episode, and pick up the Game of Thrones Season 6 soundtrack if you haven’t already!

Aw I love him. What a talented, passionate and polite man he is!
God that music still gets me, just amazing…
Been looking forward to this! It’s a pleasure to hear Ramin talking about his thought process with the GOO gang.
What a fantastic interview. Loved it. Thank you, guys! He is SO talented! Definitely carving out a great legacy of writing.
GoT theme song is the ring tone on my phone. I don’t leave home without it. 🙂
As a classically trained pianist, I can’t help but absolutely love “Light of the Seven”.
The entire theme enhances the episode so well and it’s still one of my favorites to replay now that I own the soundtrack.
Thank you so much, Ramin, for all the seasons of wonderful music.
I feel a bit badly every time I think it, too. I mean, he’s an artist who is so incredibly brilliant, imo, gracious, wonderfully articulate, etc… yet every time I see him, my first thought is, “wow, he’s beyond easy on the eyes.”
Thanks for this interview, GOO crew, and thanks to Mr. Djawadi for his accessibility, thoughts, insights, and, of course, for his extraordinary compositions!!! 🙂
This interview stands out to me as one of GOO’s best episodes ever. And they’ve had
of great episodes talking about this show and its craft. 🙂
The way that Ramin speaks about his process was intelligent and thoughtful, and the enthusiasm he has for both
and his creative partners shone brightly throughout the conversation. He’s clearly built up a great rapport with David and Dan during the years they’ve been working together on the show.
One of the coolest pieces of information that I hadn’t known before listening to this podcast was about the spotting sessions. Before starting work on each new season, Ramin and his collaborators sit down and watch every single episode of the show again, identifying the various musical pieces and cues that they want to reprise or rework for the current season. I would honestly pay a not-inconsiderable sum of money to sit in on one of those sessions. I have no musical talent of my own and know nothing about the process of creating a score, but I think it would be a fascinating educational experience. I suppose that the most that we could probably realistically hope for along those lines would be a DVD commentary from Ramin at some point.
Thank you very much for this great interview! Ramin is a amazing artist and gave us so many great pieces of music. Mhysa and Light of the Seven give me goosebumps all the time, like nothing else before! Thanks!
A reaction channel guy has his unsullied friend watch and react to GoT for the first time
He says he”ll post new reactions every 2-3 days. I love it 😀
My musical “talent” is limited to just about picking out simple tunes like “Three Blind Mice” on the descant recorder so when I listen to this type of gifted musician and composer I am lost in wonderment.
That was a great interview guys, thanks!! 🙂
After Torchwood boy for preparing season 5 and blind wave for season 6 …this is the guy that’s going to be Start the series and post reactions before season7 …thanks for posting ..
That was a very nice interview and good to head from ramin

To be a fly on that wall, right? David & Dan, at ComicCon, talked for 20 or 30 seconds about storyboarding the season and then said something like, “But that’s boring and no one wants to hear about that.” I was all, “I do! I do! I do!” That’s the fly I’d want to be, in the writing room.
