Everything We Know About the 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Finale
[Warning: The following article contains spoilers from Season 6 of
sixth season has come and gone with the speed of a thousand dragons. We have a mere three episodes until we once again say goodbye to the world of Westeros, and the imminent, torturous countdown to Season 7 begins.
Despite a slow-as-molasses start, it\'s been a remarkable ride. Daenerys has once again reminded us she\'s an all-mighty, rabble-rousing, wing-wrangling commander, Arya might just secure the badass ability to wear other people\'s FACES, Margaery is blatantly gearing up for the greatest scheme in Westeros\' history, and all of a sudden Sansa has a personality.
As we know, however, the most eventful episodes tend to occur leading up to each season\'s finale...
On Wednesday, HBO confirmed the Season 6 finale will be the longest episode
has ever produced, running a full 69 minutes.
The network has also released the titles of the last two episodes:
2. We\'re probably in for an epic battle between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton
does well, it is calling out the bastards like there\'s no tomorrow.
Both Jon and Ramsay were indeed born out of wedlock, and after Sansa\'s abuse and Rickon\'s kidnapping, there was no way this season would end without the two coming to fisticuffs.
3. The White Walkers might dominate the season finale
sounds suspiciously apropos of an episode in which the oncoming snow- (and other unsavory things) storm of the White Walkers finally hits our heroes. We know the Walkers are hot on Bran, Benjen, and Meera\'s trail, so it stands to reason this momentous plot line will clear itself up in the last two episodes.
The theory of an eventual battle of the estranged Clegane Brothers — better known as The Mountain (Gregor) and The Hound (Sandor) — has earned itself the oh so endearing term "CleganeBowl." The idea is this: Cersei will use The Mountain in her upcoming trial by combat, The Hound finding himself in that same combat — head-to-head with his brother, representing the Faith.
This theory is supported by Sunday\'s episode "The Broken Man" in which religious figure Septon "Ray" Meribald (the man who saved The Hound\'s life) is murdered by the Brotherhood Without Banners. While The Hound wasn\'t outwardly keen on Ray\'s ramblings on acts of good and kindness
Ray\'s murder, it\'s very possible the violent hanging of his savior could have converted The Hound into a true believer — or, at the very least, convince him to fight for the Faith (the High Sparrow and company) in Ray\'s name.
In case you haven\'t heard, Arya Stark is one of two things: stone cold dead, or The Waif. There is no in between.
After Sunday\'s episode, we either know that Arya is bleeding to death in some hovel as The Waif resharpens her shank back at Jaqen\'s, or (as many have theorized) Arya has been The Waif the whole time.

5. Sansa may or may not be pregnant with Ramsay Bolton\'s child
As disturbing as this is to say, the suggestion that Sansa is pregnant with Ramsay Bolton\'s demon baby is one of the stronger
In "The Door," Sansa reunited with rat man Petyr Baelish to (rightfully) barrage him with guilt — he enabled Ramsay to hurt her, likely knowing full well what he was capable of. What a pig.
"I can still feel it," she tells him. "I don\'t mean, \'In my tender heart, it still pains me so,\' I can still feel what he did in my body standing here, right now."
These words, along with the new outfit Sansa made for herself and her aversion to the fare of Castle Black — are concerning. The combination of occurrences could mean we have cause for concern.
