Game of Thrones ended with Jon Snow bleeding out in the snow, and Season 6 picked up right where we left off, with our fave bastard seemingly definitely dead.

3. Ser Davos discovers his body and has it moved, and then stares at the blood left in the snow for a moment.

4. Some viewers think this is significant because the blood appears to be in the shape of a dragon.

6. The dragon shape seems even clearer in the shot with Jon’s body.

9. It could also line up with the Targaryen sigil/three-headed dragon.

10. One fan even pointed out that Jon’s blood appears to shift from wolf-shaped to dragon.

11. If it’s true, it adds fuel to the fire that we’ll soon get confirmation of the R+L=J theory, which means Jon Snow is really the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

That would mean he is “blood of the dragon” and one of the three heads of the dragon/one of three potential dragon-riders. You can read more about the theory in detail here.

12. The show dropped several hints about R+L=J last season, and many believe there will be a flashback to the Tower of Joy – the alleged scene of Jon’s birth to Lyanna – in the next few episodes.
