Tamer Hassan on his new role and filming Game of Thrones season 6 

giving us a glimpse of his character’s fate and more. The actor’s casting on the show was revealed only a week ago and little is known about his specific part on

that he plays a Dothraki warrior, “a leader,” according to Hassan. “What I do affects the main characters. Really. It’s massive.”

Hassan filmed in Northern Ireland, and it was his “most challenging role to date.” The shoot was cold and not particularly glamorous and he remarks on the show’s unusual process of withholding complete scripts.

“You get your page of lines and that is all you see. You have no idea of the script and no idea what’s going on and that is what is really magical about it.”

Though he’s signing on for season 6, this wasn’t the first time Hassan has met with

‘s casting people. In fact, he’s had his eye on the show for years.

“I actually was a little bit angry because I’ve met for

for every season but it never worked out. […] When you look at the show, how do I not fit in? It’s just one of those ones that I could never seem to get, until now. It’s not a regular role or a major role but the impact of what I do is epic.”

Asked whether or not his character may return, Hassan admits, “Well, a lot of people around me die. I didn’t die.”

So, no fiery fate for Hassan’s character, it would seem!

I think he is saying too much, but i have high hopes for Dany´s storyline.

I don’t really like what some of the possibilities could be of “the impact of what I do is epic” and “what I do affects the main characters. Really. It’s massive.” Sure, there are some good things he could do that he may call epic, but…

Some of the khals must survive the inevitable carnage, right? If she is to be the khaleesi of khals, she needs some khals alive. So I guess Hassan will be one of the lucky ones 😉

So will Dany leave for Westeros by the end of the season? It seems D & D may have her spending a lot of time with the Dothraki.

lol he has talked a little too much. If he says a lot of people died, he’ll probably be part of that massive scene with the big dothraki tent. If what he does is big, he either pisses dany/drogon off or agrees with her and makes the other khals bend the knee to dany.

I kind of am getting a douchebag vibe from this guy.

Not that I’m wishing that at all (whatever you may think of her, that would be damn anticlimatic) but that would be an “epic impact”. ^^

I watched the last two episodes of season two and I thought that the scene between Sandor Clegane and Bronn just before Blackwater battle had a strange dynamic that could foreshadow a proper fight between the two. So if the Hound is back again in the coming season and Bronn follows Jaimie to the RLs then that could be a good scenario for a fierce meeting between the two. And watching further the three first episodes of season 3 (which I deem to be the best so far) the scene between Catelyn and Talisha and Cat’s story about the sick baby Jon is a strong foreshadow for a meeting between the two in their twisted form. I know but I couldn’t resist not saying it again…

There are many who complain about Dany’s storyline but watching the last episodes of season 2 and the first 3 of season 3 I liked the transition between the teenage Dany of S2 to the more authoritative and political yet not really matured Dany of S3. I liked the flow in her. And what a performance from Hildebrand as Krazny! Actually the combination of performances such as Hildebrands, Hinds, Russels and Cosmos in just one episode is a mere pleasure that makes GOT so special…

Oh well. I guess I’m gonna be pessimistic and assume we’ll may get a mid-to-late February trailer —just to be ready for the worst. Well, at least James Hibberd said on Twitter that there would be more EW exclusives on season six this month.

Yeah we’re probably not getting the trailer until February.

It is kind of a spoiler to tell if he dies or not, surprised he was allowed to do that. But if he is not coming back there is probably nothing that will happen to him since this was a such a small spoiler. But does not really sound likable guy.

Wrong. The spoilers weren’t of the typical nature that are usually posted on here and flagged as ““Plot spoiler below the cut!” They were pretty substantial death/non-death spoilers that are usually flagged as ““HUGE spoiler below the cut” Could have benefited from a stronger warning to be fair..

You’re probably right. Most likely the day Vynil premieres. When we do get it, it’s likely only going to be quick edits from the first few episodes, and it will only make the wait for the premiere even tougher with anticipation.

First trailer for Girls was December 2nd, 79 days before their February 21st premeire. 79 days before April 24th is February 5th, so I’m still thinking a trailer around Vinyl’s premeire on the 14th.
