Game of Thrones Question

What did Viserys mean when he said "you don't want to wake the dragon?

Ok so this is probably book thing, and I'm aware I'm probably spoiling myself but that quote is driving me crazy. Upon rewatch I've come notice that Viserys dons a heavy set of CRAZY behind those eyes, and I'm guessing that "the dragon" is a metaphor of sorts for that. Am I right?

Sylarfan said:
The dragon is what he calls his angry side, basically he is implying if she doesnt do what he wants he will beat her, in the book when he says, this he grabs her nipple roughly, implying he would twist it harshly or something

Wow! that is crazy. I noticed something was up with him the moment he so quickly questioned the guy he was walking with. It made me think he could turn ugly really, really quick. Thanks.

Sylarfan is correct. For Viserys "waking the dragon" means arousing his temper.

I don't wanna spoil it for you, as I'm sure it will become obvious pretty soon what he's talking about. But it is a metaphore, if you still wanna know exactly what he means let me know.

Haha thanks. I already knew I was into spoiler territory by asking it, so I don't mind. Sylarfan has already given me a pretty good idea of what he's capable of. Crazy.
