She drew the circle quicker trying not to mess up. The only thing on her mind was her big brothers smiling face. "when I get him back those state alchemist will pay!" she yelled into the emptiness of Ishval. They took everything but her life and she was just a kid not much older than 8 or 9. "there! I'm done!" she had found the notes floating through the air the day before and she was desperate to have her brother back he was all she had. She paused and thought back to what the alchemist had told her about alchemy. "never use it in hate and never try to bring back the dead" the girl had been saved by this man and here she was throwing it away. She growled at the feelings of regret welling in her and slammed her hands down igniting the circle. She watched amazed as it glowed beautiful colours before trying an ugly shade of purple. Her eyes went wide and she wanted to pull back but she didn't dare try. Her brothers corps lay there in the circle his death wasn't to long ago and she didn't want to risk loosing her chance. "Please work...big brother I need you" she muttered. Then an eye as big as her circle shot open and she screamed jumping back as black tiny hands swirled about her and pulled her into the gate as she tried to run and just before she disappeared she saw him the man who saved her. She yelled "Help me!" but the man made no moves and then she was gone. Into an endless White room with only a thing and a door. "Wh-what is this?!" she looked around scared red eyes darting about in search of anyway out. "What's this? I don't see much of your people here" the White thing spoke with it's wicked grin. "Who are you?! Where's my big brother?! Where's my master?!" the girl asked shaking. "I am the Truth and this is what happens when you can not pay the full toll for a transmutation" the doors began to open behind the girl and she turned to watch "I'm Verona and I just wanted my brother back from those monsters who killed everyone in my village" tears rolled down her cheeks as the hands took her inside the gate to finish paying the price.
