While there is one thing that I can certainly praise the film for doing differently to so many Disney movies (showing us that true love does not have to be romantic love, and having the princess rescued by someone other than her man) there is actually a lot of things about the ending that feel very typically Disney to me. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, though, but we have good triumphing over evil, a hugely complicated problem solved by the power of love, every character getting what they deserve, and a suggestion that they all lived happily ever after. To be more original, they could have given us a bittersweet ending such as Kristoff leaving Anna to go back to where he came from, or Olaf dying forever when the snow disappeared, but due to the nature and tone of the movie (which was overall very comedic), I think they made the right decision in giving us a normal yet happy ending.
