The animation style is the same and that's what makes us think they look alike.

Anna's eyes are more slanting and she is way prettier than Rapunzel.

They do, first time I saw Anna I was like: Seriously? Now I can see the hair makes them look not so alike, but tha face is still the same... I have got the feeling their temper is gonna be almost the same too!

Yes! I can see their resemblance very well. That what makes Anna doesn't look special. She looks special just when her hair turns into completely white.

The animation style is the asme (or at least really close), but even with the edited images I do not see Anna as Rapunzel or vice versa. Even their smile is very different

Their face shapes are very similar. They look like they could be related! A lot of CG female Disney characters look like them though, it's not just Anna and Rapunzel that have those similarities. There's a character in the upcoming Disney film that looks a lot like them too (again, due to the face looking so similar).
