When it comes to great cartoon characters, there are so many to choose from. There have been countless characters that have impressed a countless amount of people with their heart, charm, wit, action, humor and coolness.
When it comes to Disney characters, they've had quite a large number of iconic characters. For me, picking a favorite Disney character is too easy, because an obsession I have with a particular Disney character. That character is Elsa from Frozen. Elsa is the coolest Disney character.
What makes Elsa the coolest?
Well, first off, I need to address the ice queen in the room. Elsa is the coolest in the literal sense. She's as cold as possible and isn't bothered by it. She can create ice with her hands. She can make any occasion cooler with the power that she possesses. However, is there more to Elsa's coolness than just her powers? Yes.
Elsa is a queen and a very powerful person, but she still deals with feelings of insecurity, anxiety and self-doubt. These types of attributes keep her from being too perfect. They make her relatable and easy to identify with and care about. She grows so much. She goes from hiding in her room to becoming the ruler of her kingdom to becoming the protector of the Enchanted Forest. Seeing her overcome her struggles and become a brave hero is an inspiring journey to watch.
Elsa has socializing issues, but she still loves people. She doesn't have as good of people skills as the other characters, but that only makes her more relatable to me. For Elsa, creating a palace of ice was easier than having to explain to her sister, Anna, why they couldn't spend more time together. There are times where emotional problems are even harder than physical problems. Elsa represents that by facing and overcoming emotional obstacles.
Elsa is quite the singer. Idina Menzel knocks it out of the park whenever she gets to sing as Elsa. Other than Tony Jay's Claude Frollo, no singer could ever compete or outclass Idina Menzel's Elsa in my opinion. In addition to sounding beautiful, Elsa's songs have great lyrics that are deep and meaningful. Her most iconic song, "Let It Go", is a wonderful song about being proud of who you really are.
Elsa's style is on a whole other level. Is there a single character in all of fiction with more class, grace and style than Elsa? The outfits that were made for her look great enough to begin with, but the outfits that she makes with her ice powers are absolutely amazing. She's one of the greatest fashion designers of all time. In terms of looks, Elsa is a work of art. I honestly think that paintings of her deserve to be displayed in museums. I would go as far to say that she's the Mona Lisa of her generation.
How cool is Elsa? One of my all-time favorite collections is my collection of Elsa dolls. For most characters, a couple of toys is usually enough for me. However, Elsa is one of those characters that I can't get enough of. Whenever I find a new Elsa, I get excited. I go out to stores in the hopes that they have anything new of Elsa. Elsa's mere presence brings me joy. Despite how cold she is, she has thawed my frozen heart.

Hello, hello
And welcome to my show
Yes, I'm belting
Well, not melting
Even though I'm made of snow
Perhaps you may recall
I once needed my own flurry
But now you need not worry
Who can handle this enormous candle?
Unmeltable me
Who's not sweating this sweltering setting?
Unmeltable me
Yes, Elsa's powers grew
And it's a whole new situation
Because of a relation
I now have self-refrigeration
Who is present, but not liquescent?
That's right, I just learned to read. And I like the big words.
Unmeltable me
Who's super cuddly and not all puddly?
Unmeltable me
Who's inexhaustible, un-defrostable
Humble and fun?
It's unmeltable
Oh, thank goodness you're here. Grab a seat. Just about to bring it on home.

Where the north wind meets the sea
There's a river full of memory
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound
For in this river all is found
All is found
When all is lost, then all is found
In her waters, deep and true
Lie the answers and a path for you
Dive down deep into her sound
But not too far or you'll be drowned
Yes, she will sing to those who'll hear
And in her song, all magic flows
But can you brave what you most fear?
Can you face what the river knows?
Until the river's finally crossed
You'll never feel the solid ground
You had to get a little lost
On your way to being found
Where the north wind meets the sea
There's a mother full of memory
Come, my darling, homeward bound
Where all is lost, then all is found
All is found
All is found
There's a river full of memory
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound
For in this river all is found
All is found
